If somebody promises to build a free energy device and the other guy doesn't, who do you vote for?
Fight smart, not fair.I'd vote for the guy who promises to break thermodynamics, because Rule of Cool.
Right. If Virg Bernero (the democrat who ran against Snyder) had come up with a job plan that seemed realistic and forward looking, he would have gotten a lot more support than he did. Instead he choose to run in part against union bashing, which is ok so far as it goes, but doesn't constitute a plan to revitalize Michigan.
I'm done trying to sound smart. "Clear" is the new smart.Massive construction initiatives? Like maybe a train network?
Very big Daydream Believer. "That's not knowledge, that's a crapshoot!" -Al Murray "Welcome to QI" -Stephen FryI'm saying it. I'm in Milwaukee, where governor dick wad tried to use the HSR money from the Federal government to build more roads, even though we don't need more roads, we need repaired roads.
Very big Daydream Believer. "That's not knowledge, that's a crapshoot!" -Al Murray "Welcome to QI" -Stephen FryVirg could have promised the world and would have lost simply because he was a democrat, and everyone blamed the problems in Michigan on the current party.
It happens EVERY TIME.
Current party, even if its not even responsible, during an economic downturn or whatever loses.
Same as the inverse.
Its why the 2 party system is such bullcrap.
Mob rule is not a good idea as it allows a majority to violate the rights of the minority. No better then an oligarchy This is why a Republic is the only logical form of government and that it should be a Federation and not a Nation.
We must survive, all of us. The blood of a human for me, a cooked bird for you. Where is the difference?
Partially. It's just that people rag on the two party system all of the time without ever offering an alternative.
Plus, why ever pass up a chance to bring up Godwin's Law?
The thing about making witty signature lines is that it first needs to actually be witty.

Snyder was considered less evil... because he didn't promise to increase the number of good-paying jobs in state?
