None of the images or forum boxes are showing up for me correctly. How can I fix this?

You can clear your cache. In Firefox, it's under the "Tools" menu.

Oops, missed this thread. I've been having the same problem, in both Firefox and Chrome. It's working fine at the moment, but for the past couple days it's been messed up 99% of the time. My friend who I've been trying to convert to troperdom finally checked it out on Thursday and said something about the formatting being weird; I dunno if it's the exact same problem though.

I guess it is.

Two more threads have cropped up. [1] and [2] They seem related. I am locking them and directing the queries here.

The problem seems to have fixed itself for me...

I just got a blank page when I tried to access the site, and down for me said it wasn't on my end.

[up]I got that too for like 10 minutes. I figured it was just a server hiccup or something. Everyhing's fine on my end at the moment.

I have a different problem on this end (using Chrome). Whenever I try to search for a text string on a page in the wiki, the page becomes unresponsive, and the dialog box pops up with the options "Wait" and "Kill Page". "Wait", of course, does nothing, and so I have to open up another tab, go back into the wiki, search for the page that just got killed, and then either a) bite the bullet and search for it manually (a royal pain, esp. on Trope Overdosed pages), or b) suffer in silence as I sadly pass over the lingering YMMV trope, errant typo, or missing trope entry. Someone please help.

The same function works perfectly on other pages (tested on a Google Chrome help thread, giantitp.com, and kotaku.com), and only seems to crash here. Thinking it was a problem with my browser, I also cleared my cookies and cache, which didn't work.

EDIT: OK, it also works in YKTTW, at least in this forum. EDIT EDIT: Power of Posting, as we say on Jay Is Games.com. EDIT EDIT EDIT: That's to say, it works on main trope pages, not edit pages.

@Locoman: Yeah, it's been fine for me all day as well. I dunno if Eddie did something or what.

I guess it is.

The site has been showing up in "ugly format" for me since Friday. Same for my friend. The lack of news about it makes me feel like I exist in the Ugly!tropes pocket dimension. I'm glad I'm not the only one.

I've tried the page on Firefox, Chrome and even IE. It's fail-y on all three.

I hope everything goes back to normal soon :C

Tried this page on my home computer and at school. No dice. There's an issue with the website itself.

Getting random service interruptions. A reload is generally all that's needed.

I'm noticing that both Locoman and Defunctzombie have entirely white avatars—not even the generic silhouette for someone who hasn't bothered to upload an avatar. Anyone think that might be related to the problem?

Edit: In the time it took me to post this, Locoman's avatar started showing up! Defunctzombie's is still down.

Aww, I'm so bummed, things were working and now it's back to ugly. Ah well, I just hope the ugly!Tropes phase is shorter this time.

I'm getting this too. Windows 7, Google Chrome. From what I know of it, the static server may have something to do with this.

If it helps, the forum thread look like this. (Picture from Nyktos' other thread).
