This is technically both an Animation and Live TV topic, but since it's about Nickelodeon I thought I should post it here.

In the fall Nick is going to start re-airing some of their old shows in a midnight block. They are going to air the Rugrats, Kenan & Kel, Clarissa Explains It All, Pete and Pete, and the Amanda Show.

Discuss.

Replace The Amanda Show with Rocko's Modern Life and it's a deal.

Figures that Rugrats would get the nod as the animation representation there. I just bet it will be heavy on the newer episodes as well >___>.

Glad they're doing a variety of shows, not just cartoons, and glad they have some respect for nostalgic old geeks.

It's too bad Disney owns Doug now, because if you threw that in along with Angry Beavers and replaced Amanda with Rocko you'd have the best Nick block EVER.

BTW does anybody know what happened to the orange couch? I'd love to buy one like it.

Disney only owns the later seasons of Doug, which were originally broadcast on the Disney Channel. Nickelodeon still owns the episodes of Doug that were originally broadcast on Nick.

^^I think it was given away to a contest winner.

^Nitpicking, here: the Disney version of Doug was originally on ABC (which was new to the fold at the time it debuted).

I think it's best to consider Nickelodeon's Doug and Disney's later seasons as completely separate shows.

...They name the block "The 90's are All That" and then don't put classic All That in the mix? Curious.

All That is a part of the block. I forgot to put it in my first post.

I'm kind of disappointed that some of the shows that will be re-aired are kind of similiar. Do they really have to show All That, The Amanda Show, and Kenan and Kel? I sort of wish that they could trade one of those out for Rocko's Modern Life or Hey Arnold.

And ask if you add Inside-Out Boy to this trope, because well, Inside-Out Boy is a real claymation short on Nickelodeon and he will return today on The 90's Are All That.

Actually, I like the Inside-Out Boy but rather Rugrats.

Welcome aboard, folks! :D Me: Coffee Rain! Hienfan: It's chocolate milk.

[up][up][up]I fear they may have forgot that they actually had a show called All That once, and just named this new block all that because the phrase was popular in the 90's! :O

Nick's dug aired last year

Never tell your problems to anyone...20% don't care and the other 80% are glad you have them.
