You see, here's the problem: If Neal chooses to not take the treasure, then the show will just be another cop show with everyone solving a crime every episode. No underlying plot. Which means the only option is for Neal to take the treasure and go back to being a conman so they add life to the show. That is, unless this is the last season.
Happens to all of us. In other news, Mozzie is apparently The Laughing Man.
-cast revive on thread- shit hits the fan next week people. Also Neal's actor is gay.
Untitled Power Rangers StoryThat does shed an interesting Interpretation on the whole Chuck and Bryce dynamic.
Just kidding ;)

"You can reply to this Message!"hrm...not the smart choice...but Kramer made it clear that he would NOT walk, whatever the Hearing said. Even if Peter's testimony would have set him free, how long do you think it would have taken Kramer to bring up completely new charges (above the "public endangerment", etc)? And Neal did overhear that if Kramer got his way he'd be basically be forced(!) to work for the FBI forever or go to prison.
Basically, from his perspective, his home would have been gone either way. He could either run or be dragged to DC with Kramer holding the leash.
lets see what next season makes of this.
As for Kramer, I'm asking myself if what he does is truly out of his sense of justice or if he simply was getting jealous of his pupil's conviction rates (94%?) and wanted this too?
Next Season will reveal that Kramer's CI was framed and did indeed reform a la Neal

"You can reply to this Message!"

I love this show. The writing is great, the acting is good, and the premise is a good take on cop shows.
I just saw the season finale, and wow. That was probably the best season finale I've ever seen.
Do you think Neal will take the treasure?
