Yeah, that's annoying, but as I understand it, you're supposed to use the curly brackets
for pluralizing singular tropes like {{The Chessmaster}}s to get The Chessmasters.

In which case they're not gratuitous curly brackets, they're just curly brackets.

Apparently I am adorable, but my GF is my #1 Groupie. (Avatar by Dreki-K)It's also used to force capitalization. Agree or not, it makes it a fucking bitch to ctrl+f something I'm looking to replace.
Fight smart, not fair. No, I mean someone will do something like this.
{{Big Guy and Rusty the Boy Robot}}: blah blah blah
Fight smart, not fair.Where we're searching for BigGuyAndRustyTheBoyRobot. Yep, putting everything into CamelCase where possible and adding custom titles where needed is a good thing for control-f.

I've learned not to use the full name. I generally just searched for Bigguyan which brought up most.
Fight smart, not fair.

Probably cases of double-markup like this: {{TheChessmaster}}. Which would just make it show up as TheChessmaster, which then has to be fixed.
{{Or This}}, which could just as easily be OrThis.
