All I do care about is games though.
Anything else I care about I can do on the laptop I'm typing this in on.
You are not alone. Not to mention the pastebin claims "some Sony team made it go viral" regarding the DRM.
"It's a conspiracy, guys! No, really, Sony's just trying to make us look bad!"
And it uses the "if we block used games we can make cheaper games!" argument, which was rebutted nicely by Mr. Sterling and Mr. Fils-Aime(sp?) in their own special ways. Comparing it to Steam also doesn't work, since (as many people have pointed out) Steam actually has competition.
What was it that someone said? "If you want to make games a service, at least make it a good service."
Origin and Games For Windows? Not good services.
You are not alone.

Steam competes because Valve said "let's help the little guys, the indie gamers". Even Valve admits that if they were to ever go under they'd patch Steam games to allow play. As Jim Sterling points out, the smaller indie developers are lower cost. If "God Help Us We're No Budget Games" makes a bad one, Steam as a whole doesn't suffer. The Xbone will need lots of indie games or some "Medal of Call Of Battlefield Ops" gun-bro shooter that has lots of people wanting to play it. Oh wait, the "realistic shooters" are tanking now, Danger Close studios just shuttered (after Medal Of Honor War Fighter tanked).. So no Call of Duty Dogs can save the Xbone.
Microsoft is losing this one. Windows 8 can be hacked the way we want it, people are working on unlocking phones too and unlocked tablets will follow.
So they though they could stick it to gamers and lock people into their service.
When Black Friday and Christmas roll around (along with whatever shopping days are big in Europe and Asia) and Xbone sales are in the tank, this console could be Microsoft's Dreamcast. Only sucky.

I tried to walk like an Egyptian and now I need to see a Cairo practor....Now the standard Xbox One console isn't even in the top 50 on Amercian Amazon anymore.

Watch SymphogearI thought it lost the #2 spot to the standard PS 4 edition. But the Launch PS 4 edition ran out of stock, so it might have dropped from #1.
You are not alone.![]()
Yeah, however the standard edition is at #52 right now while the standard PS 4 is in first and the launch version is sold at and holding in at #3.
standard moved up to 1st while the sold out one dropped to 3rd.

I've searched high and wide for the source of this statement, but I can't find it. All I found were second-hand sources that *say* Valve said it, but not a statement directly from Valve themselves. Therefore, I have to take this claim with a grain of salt.
I'm a US soldier, and as this article
points out, the Xbox, the only currently supported American console, is far less soldier friendly than its Japanese competitors. Sucks for me if I get deployed and I want to get my Halo on when unwinding after a duty day.

I've said the same thing. I did a tour of Korea and am currently back in the states. Thanks to the Xbone being "always on", no taking it on TDY or tossing it in the car on leave. IS Korea on the list? I see most ADA in Japan not liking the Xbone.
Oh and I've borrowed stuff from buddies and waited to get the Xbox One (back when it was the "720") and a PS 4. I'm getting a PS 3 and maybe a PS 4 next year instead.

I tried to walk like an Egyptian and now I need to see a Cairo practor....The standard Xbox One is now ranked 63rd on Amazon's Best Sellers.
The PS 4 is still at first and third.

Wow, the Xbone day one edition(tm) is #2, but aside from a racing game, everything else in the top 10 is PS 3 / PS 4 related. And the "Day one" is 30 Nov for the Xbox One "day one" and 31 December for the PS 4.

I tried to walk like an Egyptian and now I need to see a Cairo practor....Ugh, I was wanting to get one after I got a PS4 because I could see what Microsoft was aiming for, but this is fucking stupid:
You can get banned for as simple a reason as having an "offensive" gamertag.

Taira Mai: That's mostly true, actually. Gamestop gives more credit on games like Super Mario Galaxy, and Zelda games, because it's so rare for them to have them used. People tend to keep them.
