Oh I have a few ideas (even if a few of them were already done by Nostalgia Chick):

Movies/Shows that MUST be mocked/ripped to shreds!:

Sister Act, Sister Act 2, Waiting to Exhale, Cheaper by the Dozen, Cheaper by the Dozen 2, Happily N'Ever After 2, Open Season 2, Open Season 3, Meet the Spartans, Disaster Movie, Elmo in Grouchland, Genesect and the Legend Awakened, Meet the Robinsons, Surf's Up, Gigli, Plan 9, Monkey Magic (Anime), Alakazam the Great, The Simpsons Movie, The Proud Family, Are We There Yet?, Are We Done Yet?, Underdog, Inspector Gadget 2

Reviews that I'm curious about:

Rock n' Rule, Legend of Kung Fu Rabbit, Tappy Toes, Munchie, Tooth (2004), Sonic OVA, Daddy Daycare, Looney Tunes: Back in Action, Home on the Range, The Spongebob Squarepants Movie, Back to the Sea, Rock Odyssey (1987), Stuart Little/Stuart Little 2, The Wacky Adventures of Ronald Mc Donald, Baby Looney Toons, Sonic Underground, G-Force (Disney)

[up] Doug does sometimes review movies that have already been reviewed, but the point still stands.

Also, I think the Disney Afternoon review implied that he actually likes The Proud Family, or at least doesn't have any problems with it.

Oh God! Natural light!

So by process of elimination, the only suggestions of mine that have a sight chance are:

Sister Act, Sister Act 2, Cheaper by the Dozen, Cheaper by the Dozen 2, Happily N'Ever After 2, Open Season 2, Open Season 3, Elmo in Grouchland, Surf's Up, Are We There Yet?, Are We Done Yet?, Inspector Gadget 2.

Legend of Kung Fu Rabbit, Tappy Toes, Munchie, Tooth (2004), Sonic OVA, Daddy Daycare, Home on the Range, Back to the Sea, Rock Odyssey (1987), Stuart Little/Stuart Little 2, The Wacky Adventures of Ronald Mc Donald, Baby Looney Toons, Sonic Underground, G-Force (Disney).

Are we guessing what he's reviewing next week or just a bunch of random wishlists? tongue

Didn't he say that this week's episode is another Commercial Special?

I'd love to see him review the Tootsie Roll song commercial because that song is almost impossible to get out of my head.

Every time a fairy says that it doesn't believe in humans, a human child dies.

Nevermind. The Commercial Special is next week and I just been confusing the schedule. This week's video is an Editorial called "Is Sleepy Hollow Secretly Brilliant"?

I have a few more ideals:

Next Friday (and its sequel), Barbershop 1 & 2, Love & Basketball, Norbit, any Tyler Perry film, White Chicks, Sonic Underground, Inspector Gadget 2, Tentacolino (yes I know, a long-shot), The Santa Claus Bros., Olive the Other Reindeer, Grandma Got Run Over by a Reindeer, the Gummibär Christmas special, 9 (the film with Elijah Wood), Raising Helen, Ren & Stimpy Adult Party Cartoon Show, Wulin Warriors, Legends of Awesomeness, Ice Age 2, Dawn of the Dinosaurs, Continental Drift, Mulan 2, Disney's Tarzan 2

That's all I have for now, that Nostalgia Chick didn't already do.

Oh, and as for why Surf's Up, I don't know where to begin. One beef I have is with the girl penguin.

[up] All right, it's time to comment on your requests again:

  • Next Friday and Friday After Next: Why? And they don't seem like movies Doug usually reviews.

  • Barbershop and Barbershop 2: Back in Business: Ditto.

  • Love & Basketball: Why?

  • Sonic Underground: As I already said, I'm not sure if Doug ever watched it as a kid.

  • Tentacolino: IIRC, Doug said he wouldn't do it because he felt he couldn't top the previous one.

  • 9: You know, while I found that movie disappoiting, I don't think its flaws suit themselves for an NC review. An editorial would be interesting, though.

  • Raising Helen: Why? And it doesn't seem like a movie Doug usually reviews.

  • Kung Fu Panda: Legends of Awesomeness: Not sure if Doug has ever watched it. Generally, when it comes to TV shows, Doug tackles mainly those he watched as a kid.

  • Mulan II and Tarzan II: Possible but not necessarily as NC reviews: I've heard the original plan for Disneycember 2013 was to discuss Disney DTV-sequels but some movies were hard to find so it was scrapped/postponed.

And what's your beef with the girl penguin from Surf's Up?

[up] IIRC, he said he wasn't gonna do any Sonic shows beyond Sat AM and AoStH. So Sonic Underground's a no-no.

What'd I like to see him do?

I would like to hear his thoughts on Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (2012), since it's probably not a secret that he was crazy for the TMNT back in the 80's.

Also, how about a Top 11 Favorite Episodes of The Venture Bros.? He made The Monarch and Dr. Girlfriend one of his favorite odd couples, so it's evident he's got a thing for The VB.

And I don't really know the likelihood of this, but maybe he could give his thoughts on The Secret of Kells?

When I think of NC film review ideas, I think of:

Films that pissed me off, films that are talked about over and over that I have no interest in watching (but his reviews are the closest way you'll ever get me to sit through those films without actually having to watch them, hence his trademark opening line), films that are just plain stupid, films that I saw bits of by accident as I go back and forth from my room to the kitchen (because other people with no taste live in my house too), films I would like to see NC apply his brand of comedy to for grins and curiousity purposes, and films that only NC can explain to me better (due to either bad writing, too much surrealness, or too much subtlety).

That's why I post certain film review ideas.

Sorry for double-posting, but there is one film idea I believe no one has mentioned yet:

Hercules and Xena: The Animated Movie

There are also a few Christmas specials/films that irk me: An All Dogs Cbristmas Carol and The Santa Claus 2.

I know this is now triple-posting, but these are dark times! After the Blipocalypse happened with little to NO warning, every last video on that site was removed. It god damn sucks monkey nads! However, there are still traces of the files on the original site. From my Firefox download history link alone, I was able to recover Blockbuster Buster's review of Mars Need Moms (something I downloaded before). But I'm having a hard time recovering reviews that only done by specific review. To be blunt, the only way those lost reviews can be replaced is if the Nostalgia Critic reviews the following himself (E-Rod alone said that he wouldn't be able to recover his extensive amount of old work). These lost reviews are:

  • Alvin and the Chipmunks 3: Chipwrecked (Blockbuster Buster)
  • Santa Buddies (Mike JTV)
  • Shrek the Third (Blockbuster Buster)
  • Smurfs 2 (Blockbuster Buster)
  • Are We There Yet (Mike JTV)
  • Are We Done Yet (Mike JTV)
  • The Santa Claus 2 (Mike JTV)
  • Monkeybone (Film Brain)
  • The Country Bears (Blockbuster Buster)
  • Fred, Fred 2, and Fred 3 (Mike JTV)

These reviews are the only closure we'll ever get to BS films people manage to sit through or run into, and so much anxiety is lifted from it. Without those achievements of people tearing into them, they will forever haunt our minds and give more power to the media (the ones responsible for such dreck in the first place, and possibly had a hand in Blip.tv's shutdown.

I know it's not easy for either of us (especially the reviewers), but right now, we need a hero, or at least a master hacker. We need someone to say what each of us are feeling depending on the film/show. However, not all of us have the raw flare or proper technology to make a series of web reviews of content that irks us personally. So as a result, we become trusting and dependent on those who do. Licensed movie reviews are often to "professional" or too nice when reviewing certain films (like Watch Mojo). Have of them are probably restricted into their freedom of speech, just to keep their day jobs, unlike the internet, where there's plenty of freedom outside of fair-use policies. Channel Awesome and Normal Boots actually know how to make us laugh and feel better, while giving bad films/shows the proper punishment they deserve.

Why won't he review Looney Tunes Back In Action?

Also, he should do Western Animation/Timon and Pumbaa...he briefly reviewed it in the Dinsey Afternoon but he didn't give much to it.

I want him to review The Adventures Of The American Rabbit personally. It's the exact kind of bizarre bad one could wring a good deal of material out of

Movies like Watership Down, The Plague Dogs and Felidae he won't do as a) They're actually good movies and b) the only reason people seem to want him to review them in the first place is because they're animated films about animals that happen to be really violent (which seems to be a side effect of the Animation Age Ghetto, Bambification and Adaption Displacement).

Likewise I don't think I could see him doing any of the Dingo Pictures, Video Brinquedo, The Asylum or any other schlocky movie hub producing studio out there. Yeah those movies are bad and you could wring some good stuff out of them, but their either cheap horror cashins or knock-offs put together for a quick buck. They would have to be REALLY offensive (Like the Titanic Movies) to warrant an NC review. IDK, those movies just don't seem to fit his style.

I think El Arca would be a good one for Critic to tackle, if not for the shear amount of sex jokes in it.
