Sorry, I'm just not sure what I can do since I sort of went off on my own. I was waiting for turnways to come in, to see if I could interact with him at all.
Birthright: an original web novel about Dragons, the Burdens of Leadership, and Mangoes. For the record, I was kind of struggling over how much to have Mixwell give away, even while I was writing it. If I was starting this character from scratch, I'd probably still be pondering. As it is, though, I already decided exactly where I'm starting him; the end of his dishonest career, just days, maybe less, before he decides to abandon his caravan altogether (or vice-versa). So in the end I figured, with Rose having already picked up on his not-exactly-subtle attempts to take the conversation away from the caravan, he's probably disgruntled enough already to tell her everything as soon as they're out of earshot.
Nobody will see through my disguise... this time...What... Am I doing?
I'm writing a friggin' fanfic! What the hell, I don't even like fanfics! Confound these ponies, they drive me to write fanfics!
It's not the usual kind of fanfic at least. I'm using the mane cast (Holy coconut, I didn't just type that) in the first part of it, but only to start the whole thing of.
Basic gist of the darned thing: Ancient evil locked away in the Everfree forest, the seal weakens and it affects the surroundings. Monsters are attracted to it and nature behaves independently. Over time, this spreads further and further out from the center of the Everfree forest and then around the time of the story the ancient being is released from it's prison and it tries to throw the whole world into chaos.
Pretty simple and pretty cliche... but yeah, I suddenly got the urge to write friggin' fanfiction! Also, just a warning. Don't read the fanfic named Cupcakes... It will make you feel wrong inside.
Vir Sapit Qui Pauca LoquiturSo, I don't know if anybody still checks on this thread - but does anyone remember a week or so back, when this
was posted? I was thinking of sending in a few of the pony-doodles I did, and I just wanted to check to make sure no one had any serious objections. I'd credit you all with the original designs, of course.
I have a character, if that's alright.
Mellow Tone
Sex: Male
Mentality: Singer
Breed: Earth Pony
Appearance: Light purple, almost lavender coat, brown mane, brown eyes. Picture
◊
Cutie mark: A 50's-style microphone with some soundwaves coming out.
Role/Hobbie: Local singer, performs at all the local clubs and restaurants.
Personality: Mellow's a fairly average guy. Kinda shy, even a bit geeky at times. He tries to crack jokes occasionally, but he's not all that funny. All that changes when he gets on stage. His personality becomes suave and charismatic, and he is great with people, and even funny, if his humor's a bit dry. He relishes performing, as it lets him be this way, which he finds difficult in normal settings.
Pet: Has a pet dog, named Coby. He's not very musical, but he's extra-soft, and is a good listener.
Tell me if this is alright.

I can't believe how entertaining it is to just fly around in this game. Makes me want to make a game of my own; if only my game making skills were a little better, then it wouldn't be so troublesome...!
Well, I could always watch some more videos of that genius guy on youtube whom I am subscribed to who does tutorials on math, programming and game making and stuff... But do I really have the time for something like that?
Who am I kidding; I'm on an internet forum roleplaying that I'm a pony... Of course I have time!
