Well, yeah. I just meant that there were more unconventional professions out there. After all, a Ponies 'career' is just whatever they want to do with their life.
Birthright: an original web novel about Dragons, the Burdens of Leadership, and Mangoes.Yeah, I mean, in Call of the Cutie, we have a Unicorn who's one goal seems to be popping balloons for no apparent reason.
An Indiana Jones pony does sound like a good idea, though. I mean, there are places ponies fear to tread, like Evertree Forest. Our town could have a similarly dangerous local for your character to explore.
yeah, that could be pretty neat...just a matter of finding ways to interact with the other characters, really, but that won't be hard.
I wonder what a cutie mark like that would be? Dare I say...a crystal skull? or a refidgerator...
Birthright: an original web novel about Dragons, the Burdens of Leadership, and Mangoes. After a bit of though, I've decided that Art's sister and her husband should be chefs. It makes sense, because Art's an artist in the Art Art sense and his sister would be a culinary artist. Now I just need to come up with suitable names.
And trust me, I defenatly plan on these two having a part in the story at some point.
In my mind Midnight Sky is only androgynous from a distance since her mane/tail is short and spikey like many young colts I've seen in the show. (cause its coool hair) That said, I've also come to the conclusion that M.S. is a very patient pony since she spends most of her night eyeing the slowly changing skies :3
Real Life rwby roseYeah, I'm like Gunheart said it doesn't seem to me that it would be hard to tell genders apart...But even if there were an issue, I'm pretty sure my girl would still be pretty obviously that.
I think I'm gonna stick with the cartographer/adventurer pony, but I'm pretty sure I won't go full indiana jones with it...So I just need to come up with a name, now.
Birthright: an original web novel about Dragons, the Burdens of Leadership, and Mangoes.Kegisak: How about Compass Star? Or, if you want one-word name, how about Globetrotter?
Anyway, I've decided that I'm gonna let Vanilla Bean's profile stand (except for editing it to put in pronouns) and reveal other things about her either over the course of the RP or in this thread as it goes on. Except for one change: rather than an ice cream cone, her cutie mark is now a sundae with a vanilla bean sticking out of it.

I was actually leaning towards a compass rose as the cutie mark...Or did you mean as her name, Scrounge? Because that isn't a half bad idea...of course, Now that you've given me the Trotter idea it's almost tempting to go for that, just because of the horrible horse-related pun in there.
I dunno, I kinda wanna go for something with Rose in it, just for something easy to call her, but I kinda like having a single word name. Failing that, though, I'm kinda leaning towards Wander Rose.
Birthright: an original web novel about Dragons, the Burdens of Leadership, and Mangoes.I just found a pony RPG system linked from another thread. We can use if if you guys want, but I think there'd have to be a few adjustments. For one, non-unicorn ponies wouldn't have access to the magic stat.

Of course, going free-form or using another rules set works too. We should probably try to get a consensus, though.

Ruining everything forever.Kegisak: I meant as her name, because you'd already picked a map for a cutie mark and I didn't think you wanted to change it. (Also, I somehow got the impression you'd be playing a guy pony.) I'm totally on board with Compass Rose for a name and a cutie mark.
Gelzo: I'm totally okay with doing this freeform. If we do wind up using the Pony Wars system, some tweaks would need to be made (For starters, Wings and Horn are each listed as Pony Powers, and each pony only gets one. Do unicorns and pegasuses (pegasi?) have to burn it on their horn and wings, respectively?)

I just want to point out that The Crimson Wonder isn't a super superhero. He doesn't do much that you don't already see the ponies on the show do, he just feels the need to wear a spiffy outfit when he does it. As well as actually look for trouble. He's more a superhero wannabe than a genuine superhero.
