I'm having glorious visions of the applications of Square Root's Manipulaticator.

Don't panic...it only had room for one catastrophic meltdown. :3

Suddenly having four people visit on the day she decided to close the shop for good would be... something.

Heh. "Black Horse of Hunger." That's funny.

I believe it's a reference to the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse. The horse that Famine rode was black. Or white, I can't remember.

No, you were right. White is death, black is Famine. War is red, some other color is Pestilence.

No, Death's horse was described as pale, not white. I think Pestilence's was white.

I remember hearing that "pale" might have meant in the sense of "zombie green".

Going by tradition:

Red = War
Black = Famine
Pale = Pestilence
White = Death

Older still tradition:

Red & Black are both still War & Famine, while Pale = Death and White = Strife.

Where'd that Crimson Wonder pony go, I wonder?

Famine is black. I checked to make sure I got it right.

[up][up]Sup. I kinda dropped out because, frankly, I'm a terrible roleplayer. I invented the character to be funny, but I can't resist the urge to play him straight as an awesome hero type. Plus, I couldn't really keep up with the updates.

Maybe he could play the Crimson Wonder as promotion for the Carrot Cafe place? You were doing fine, in my opinion.

Aaaaand it seems like you're being asked for anyway.

READ! Alternately...

Odd Job has agreed to work in Hors cafe, starting the day after the party, in order to make up for being a gluttonous pig. For now though him & Midnight are still heading back to the observatory.

Tick Tock and Square Root finished the gear box for the brand new manipulacator.

Quarter Note & Ritardanto were hanging out at Quarter Note's music shop, but then Quarter Note joined the group below.

Hors, Skywriter, Vanilla Bean, Artsy and an NPC have all been stood outside the Carrot Cafe, discussing the fact that the small business is going to go out of business because of Four Star's presumebly disasterous review.

Also, I like the idea Four Star is essentially a big game hunter, only he hunts and kills resteraunts instead.

Scrounge must have ninja'd me good, I didn't even see post 443 until just now.

Nothing so bad that'll require a retcon, but my apologies either way.

Psst, Scroungey... I think you've got the two ponies in my post mixed up.

Pannic: He has no description. He's an NPC who has, thus far, not shown up, and may never actually arrive in person. He started out as Vanilla Bean's personal bogeyman... bogeyhorse?... And has... taken on a life of his own.

Kyler: So I do... My bad. Fixing. EDIT: And fixed! pretend you never saw it pre-editing, okay? Vanilla would have already told Carrot, but she's not comfortable enough with Skywriter to say it to her as easily.

I was just thinking that if Four Star actually was a black horse, then wacky hijinks could ensue if someone mistook Ritardando for him.
