No, uh, his real name is White Lie: his parents called him that because of A) his pristine white coat and B) his noticeable laziness as a colt.
Odd Job is merely his most recent false identity.
... Four Star... I'm seeing a Vailla and Hors team-up plot coming up, personally... But then, I haven't been paying attention to what's been said about him, other than that he's one of Equestria's most prestigious food critics.
... And the Odd Job/White Lie thing is confusing me. DX
Hey! Read my fanfic: HereSomehow, I keep getting the mental image of Tick Tock and Square Root playing god and creating a clockwork pony. It'd be worth it just for the ham and Narm possible in that situation.
"You have more than enough potential. So tell me what is the one wish that would make your soul gem shine." -Mitt Romney, probablySquare Root's hubris doesn't run that deep. ^_^;
He tends to invent things that he thinks might help people, or make common tasks a bit easier: he might craft a clockwork prosthetic, for instance, but he wouldn't build a clockwork pony just so he could say "IT'S ALIVE! MUWAHAHAHAHAHA!"
This is not to say he wouldn't create clockwork life by accident, of course. Nothing's stopping him from, say, building a clockwork pony as an animatronic for a parade and inadvertently making it so good that it's got a heart and soul of its own. :3
I wanna jump back in, but I don't know where I'd go.
Birthright: an original web novel about Dragons, the Burdens of Leadership, and Mangoes.... Is it okay if I send Hors over to Carrot Cafe? I mean, considering he's also a chef, it seems like a subplot that would affect him, too...

Yeah, if we could call it a night and fast forward to tommorow, that'd be cool. Also! We need antagonists!
Currently we have...
So far, that's it... o_O
