-The mineshaft is quickly illuminated by the flames, revealing the inside slope downwards rather quickly, leading to who-knows-where. Torches long burnt out rest in torch-holders along either wall and the wooden beams seem a little worn by the ravages of time.-
Lisella: ...And cold too.
Hope you weren't expecting anything witty here. Maybe some day.-The tunnel flashes even brighter, making the wall easier to see. Certain parts seem to glint and sparkle, as if gold or silver remains embedded in the stone, along with what seems to be pressure plates that lightly jut out of the wall.-
Hope you weren't expecting anything witty here. Maybe some day.-The pressure plates click into place...before jutting back out again as nothing happens. ...Well, unless you consider a trap-door opening beneath the entire group something that 'happens.'
Lisella: ...Oh dea- -falls-
Joshua: Gravityyyyyy- -plummets-
Hope you weren't expecting anything witty here. Maybe some day.-The stone cracks and Kris is supported by the knife. However, there's no solid ground apart from the slide, meaning jumping would probably result in...messy results. As for everyone else, the water slide eventually ends, causing them to land in a small chamber with ankle-high water and fountain.-
Joshua: ...Well, that was interesting, to say the least.
Hope you weren't expecting anything witty here. Maybe some day.-If there was any other way, it'd be smothered by the murky darkness below. And since Kris is dangling from a wall with a considerable drop beneath him, he can't really jump anywhere.-
Joshua: Everyone is alright, correct? -casts a small spell to dry everyone off with a powerful gust of hot air-
Lisella: ...
-The chamber seems to be made of cobalt brick with water constantly vanishing into grills and flowing out of the fountain, with a small door nearby.-
Hope you weren't expecting anything witty here. Maybe some day.

-And eventually after a bit of trekking, they finally stand in front of the shrine, which, from this close up, looks more like an entrance to a mine-shaft. It's dimly illuminated, so it's hard to tell what lurks in those depths.-
Joshua: Well, time to push forward...?
Hope you weren't expecting anything witty here. Maybe some day.
