Wren: ...Heh. Who's spacing out now? -went left, so it's probably just him and Dave-
Joshua: There's no rush, you realize...?
-Down the left hallway, the path goes straight ahead as the illumination flickers a little before making a sudden descent as a very faint light shines behind the corner. As for the right hallway (Kris, Vivian and Tyson), it leads to an almost instant right turn, with a considerable amount of light to guide the way. Although the further they push on, the fainter blue the walls get.-
Hope you weren't expecting anything witty here. Maybe some day.-The walls in the right hallway become less and less blue before they become a winter-snow white, with the corridor making another sharp turn to the left which brings them to a door which seems to be bolted into place. And nothing springs out to attack, either. As for the ones in the left, after braving the darkness and pushing forwards, things start to get brighter as torches made of crystallized flame illuminate the shadows to reveal the path is blocked with bars made of ice.-
Wren: ...

Hope you weren't expecting anything witty here. Maybe some day.Joshua: -blinks- Uh, let's not...use...excessive force that could bring the whole place down on our heads. -snatches the grenade from Vivian as the door being kicked...probably would give Tyson a sore foot. That said, there did seem to be a faint sound of something almost clicking into place as he kicked it.-
-The bars of ice easily shatter into harmless shards, leaving the pathway open, for the most part.-
Wren: Alright! That's some pretty skilled swordplay there!
Hope you weren't expecting anything witty here. Maybe some day.Mienfoo!Kris: I can use Fake Out, which is for startling someone, Detect for evading attacks and possibly traps, Swift for ranged attacks, and Drain Punch to drain someone's vitality while healing myself... None of these will help, though...
And it's so easy when you're evil... This is the life for me, the Devil tips his hat to me...-Well, applying further pressure to the door causes a very tiny mechanisim on the inside to click into place and the door slides downwards into the floor to reveal one large chamber, looking...rather similar to the one in the forest, only the walls are a white crystal and the bronze statue is facing the center of the room rather than the wall.-
Wren: -follows, humming casually- Well, there's a light at the end of the tunnel, by the looks. -points to the glowing lights ahead-
Hope you weren't expecting anything witty here. Maybe some day.-For the most part, apart from the walls being made of different materials and the chairs either still in one piece or fragments of crystal, the chamber is mostly the same, yet the alter is more a giant cube of crystal that stands tall.-
Joshua: Indeed. Could there be a connection...?
-The hallway comes to an abrupt stop as the door has collapsed, leading to a room with pillars stretching up to the roof, with a platform and ladder dangling above the abyss below.-
Wren: ...Meep.
Hope you weren't expecting anything witty here. Maybe some day.Tyson: I think there might be. There's still three other areas, right? Likely we're going to find very similar rooms to these. Maybe they even open areas to each other.
Dave: ....so how do you feel about me trying to get us to hop over there? mario is red, i am green, i try my best, but everyone's mean
Joshua: Well, we've been to the forest, and this is the tundra, so...logically...there'd be two more to find in the mountains and desert...?
-The crystal itself seems flawless, with probably a few indents and scratches on the side. Yet, something seems to be inside. A book...? And as for the chair...it either supports Vivian's weight barely...or crumbles harmlessly into dust.-
Wren: ...I guess we climb...? Hope you weren't expecting anything witty here. Maybe some day.

Tyson: -follows behind them-
Dave: -spacing out looking at a banner- What? Oh, yeah, course. -follows-
