I'm a native spanish-speaker. Given the western setting, spanish seems a little more natural than german. More El Sabueso!
Likes many underrated webcomicsNice to see more of Sniping Angel Erin-Chan.
...
It's late and I'm tired. Apologies.
Also, welcome to the forum, Matt!

I haven't watched much wrestling since the WCW days, so I don't know what the reference could be...
Erin is actually from "Erinyes". I'm not sure if they were bird-women or not, but there's the fury/vengeance angle. Seemed like an okay name. I also liked it because "Erin" sorta sounds like "Air" + "in" (In the Air) too
.
It's probably not German, but... ah well
Thanks for the welcome!

Wuh oh.
I like how the last panel leaves it intentionally vague as to who's being aimed at. Also, I like the second panel, with Burke's body lying there with a giant hole through it.
Occasionally I will update pages based on suggestions/complaints or due to personal problems I have with 'em.
I always post links to the pages on the forums in Nuklear Power (and a list of what I updated) but since not everyone is a member of NPF they may not realize I've done anything.
So I'll post links/notices to updated pages here too, since I can!
Page 29 has been changed:
http://www.nuklearpower.com/2011/06/07/the-dreadful-029/
Update = Panel 2. The hoof prints in the original version didn't look much like hoof prints, they looked more like small craters. I changed them so they'd look more like they were made by a cow.
EDIT: Though the site can be kinda weird. It sometimes won't display the updated pages for everyone right away. So if you still see the old version then just wait a bit and the new one will eventually come around for ya.

I have to say, I'd never thought I'd see a minotaur with a Bishie Sparkle. Something new, every day...
This is becoming quite funny. I didn't expect that up front; it seemed like it would be more serious in tone. Well, I shall enjoy seeing where this is going.
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"I had planned for it to be a bit of both, though it's tricky keeping a balance, and sometimes I think I should just keep it 100% serious. However, with characters like Burke and Boozloaf that's pretty hard to do. Kit isn't a very grim character either.
I like the tone of Tarantino films. Like, they're violent and such, but also quirky and have funny parts to 'em.
Screw redemotion. Bring her forgiveness.

"You can reply to this Message!"So is Boozloaf what happens when the Armstrong family starts practicing bestiality?
What's precedent ever done for us?#037
. It always amuses me when I see characters with nonhuman features (horns, tail, wings) try to adapt human clothing. The horns poking through Kit's hat are just absurd enough to be funny, especially when it's clear that they're just ripped through; she didn't try to cut holes or have a custom tailored hat or anything.
Translation: "Devil girl, bull man, and Elizabeth. Who first?"
Of course, with the whole expendable line, I'm guessing Elizabeth is going to eat a bullet. Could be Boozloaf, but I doubt it, and it definitely won't be Kit.
<hopes that Clevinger hasn't rubbed off on Speroni>
Edit: Ninja'd by one freaking second! Oh well, my translation's better anyway.

Expergiscēre cras, medior quam hodie. (Awaken tomorrow, better than today.)Hmm. Plot-wise, Kit's the only one we expect to live, unless Speroni is pulling a Clevinger. But we also know Kit can recover from otherwise fatal wounds. But again, our sniper can be presumed to know this.
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"
The "design" of Kit's hat had more thought to it than one would expect
Nothing brilliant, but me and some friends tried to figure out if she shouldn't just wear it tipped back a bit, so the brim kinda rested on her horns. Ultimately though I decided on the holes, because her tail is coming out through a hole in her jeans, and that really doesn't make that much sense either. I figured holes in her hat sorta tied the whole absurd look together.
I enjoy reading all this speculation! I can't wait for you all to see what I actually do

Well, the part that makes it absurd isn't so much the attempt to adapt human clothing per se, as the bit of Fridge Logic that asks how in the world she manages to get into and out of those jeans, especially if she has to use the bathroom. One's imagination runs wild. And as you note, that's a problem for any otherwise humanoid creature with a tail. I like letting it ride on Rule of Funny.

"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"

Before we started working on translations, I asked my friend if he could make it so Erin came across as formal. I'm glad you picked up on it, because it let's me know that it worked
So yeah, that aspect of Erin's character was intentional.
EDIT: I also have Spanish in the comic courtesy of another friend (who is from Mexico). It hasn't come up as often though. There was that one part where Liz spoke it (poorly) but that's been it. It will pop up a lot more later
A lot of people thought I just messed up the Spanish on that panel, but it was Liz who messed it up.
