Why can't it be both?
Well, it's a little bit of a few things.
He had his gun out, and it had six silver bullets in it, so he was a danger (if a small one).
The comments he made further pushed Kit over the line. If she had any thoughts of showing mercy it was gone when he said what he said.
I thought he was pretty much doing everything he could to make her mad, and completely failing to realise that a mad Kit is a bad thing to have a line of sight to.
He was begging to be killed. Genre Blind doesn't begin to cover it.
Dammit
, NO Kit. Do not.

What do you mean, "no"? Always check out the secret trap door — there might be treasure!

Suddenly Wesker appears: "No, Kit! Stop! Don't OPEN that DOOR!"
Then she'll be like "Blood! Hope it's not LUCAS'S blood!"
Then Booz saves her, "That was too close, you were almost a Kit sandwich".
She's got a bullet left. How bad can it be?
She needs a flame thrower to properly investigate.
She needs a cute medic/nurse type to assist her, too.
Like someone to whip up some plant killer so that Kit can get to the "root" of the problem.
Kit enters the spooooky basement! (that may not be that spooky)
And I wonder if those zombies realized the woman who killed them to death was the girl on their Babe Poster.
So hold on...
They drank the beer, but she killed them anyway?
Kit didn't know they were Big Eagle Beer patrons!
She might've signed their poster had they asked her nicely.
So, is it now canon that Kit can dual-wield AK-47s?
I think it is canon that she did so in an advert.
Are adverts canon?
I think I'm gonna leave that one open to interpretation
I mostly did it as a joke, but it could really go either way in terms of the story. Kit is pretty strong, and with all we've seen so far I wouldn't think a firebreathing eagle or apeloids are too much of a stretch.
However, Kit's also mentioned that she has had various jobs in the past, so doing adverts might've been another way for her to make some money. She seems like the type who is a sucker for publicity.
I don't know if my saying anything definitive would be useful because I'm not exactly sure myself, and leaving it ambiguous seems like more fun

Question. How "super" as in strength, speed, reflexes, etc is Kit? Most nonhuman protagonists seem to be so to some degree.
Kit's strength is "super" in the sense that she's much stronger than her size would suggest, but she's still within action-hero limits. She has the strength of John Rambo. Which means, she might be able to dual wield A Ks if she's feelin' pumped.
Her main super power is her durability. Even for a devikin she is exceptionally tough. Her durability also factors into her strength. Like, she doesn't "feel the kick" of certain guns like normal people would. She has the durability of Rocky in Montage. Which is to say, she's freakin' tough.
(I've been watching Stallone movies, okay? shut up
)
Her reflexes are also incredibly fast, and her affinity for weapons is extremely high. She can also see in the dark, and weather conditions (particularly hot/dry ones of a desert) don't have much of an impact on her. She can pick up and use just about any weapon with minimal training (though she's super good with a revolver, but she has had training there: more on that later). She can also outdrink just about anyone.
So, Kit's pretty amazing. She's very unusual for devikin, and not even Poe can do all this. Poe, like most devikin, has basic racial traits: night vision, resistance to normal weapons, higher than average constitution, etc. Kit just takes all these and blasts them up a couple notches. It's a mystery!
I need to start talking about these things more in the comic...I wonder if I should've talked about them already? Maybe Chapter 7 will be a "Origin" story...

Clearly you're hinting at Poe's secret powers. Or I'm making stuff up.
But yeah, definitely share this info in-comic for people who aren't reading this topic.
Also, she's a Lightning Bruiser then?

Relatively, yes. I'd say Kit was a Lightning Bruiser.
But You haven't seen Jeanne yet
EDIT: I'm thinking about how I might do this "Origin" stuff. Chapter 7 has been kind of knotted in my mind but talking about this has sorta freed my thoughts up a little. That's why these sites are so useful!
(plus it's just fun to talk to people and hear what they have to say)

Hey Matt. Got a question for you.
Is Jeanne Noelle also known as Mrs. Claus?
I'm sure she's a good assistant. Too bad Doc Dobbs is dead (he's upstairs with a kitchen knife through his head).
Zombies and ghosts, oh my? Now all we need is werewolves and vampires.

Just to clarify, was that guy killed for using the term Pinky, or for implying that devikin belong in whorehouses?
