Mid makes a good point. Physical boosting is one thing, but her wish-granted ability is not 'the concept of boost', which would have been an acceptable wish for a physical overclock and weapon-speed ability. Having them explode is another thing, as well - if I allow either of those, we're talking mega mana drain, since the energy is coming straight from Ciel's soul.
It's been fun.@mid: Hahaha, that's exactly what would happen.
Maybe that's partly why Homura couldn't turn time back in Episode 11, she spent too much mana on Enchanting the TANKER LORRY she drives into WPN.
The three finest things in life are to splat your enemies, drive them from their turf, and hear their lamentations as their rank falls!I thought she didn't go back in time because she knew it would only make things worse for Madoka next timeline.
The Crystal Caverns A bird's gotta sing.My brain made me think and I guess I'll leave this here.

That would be one hell of a RP (I think)
Silence in the face of evil is itself evil: God will not hold us guiltless. Not to speak is to speak. Not to act is to act.I honestly couldn't take an RP with so much Darkness-Induced Audience Apathy. That's why I think I was grateful that this RP was post!Godoka.
The Crystal Caverns A bird's gotta sing.![]()
Well, the idea of the end is to have a happy ending actually for both worlds. If I could pluck two NP Cs, Madoka restores Homura's powers, believing if there's anyone who can fix this, it's her and Yuria the Witch, who herself crossed over and is trying to find a way to both stop the old one and save the hero PC.
Japan is saved and the old one is actually killed, maybe with the reveal that the old one is actually a witch. a very old and very powerful witch.. The Masquerade is broken, and the Q Bs use the power of the soul of the old one to push back the Heat death and fufill the quota for a VERY long time, or they leave the planet, their job done. The Magical girls are definitely stronger then most of the demons and the grunt demons. Demons souls is dangerous, but no less dangerous then fighting a witch. They're just realistically dangerous. It's the humans who need the most fear, as they aren't supernatural superpowered entities, but normal people with medieval weapons and magic. who slowly become stronger and stronger with the souls they consume.
...a Puella Magi would be a complete gamebreaker in Demons Souls, when I think about it.
It does doesn't it. I'd say it's actually a tad more fair in truth, yea. The corruption isn't mandatory, just, something that can happen and usually does, sans the good souls and the PC (in most cases).
That and souls. You gotta have souls to keep your mind, or at least enough to revert back to human. Wait...if they aren't in soul form (or hollow) why do they need souls? Geeze, this series sometimes answers so little.

Silence in the face of evil is itself evil: God will not hold us guiltless. Not to speak is to speak. Not to act is to act.I see no error. I see no error. By just what a error are you talking about?
It's not like Homura time traveled back into the past, came to my home, warned me of how "this time you'll drive Star into despair and into a witch that destroys the earth, and how during that time we teamed up to stop Star's witch, fell in love, and how I sadly sacrificed myself to save me, telling her with my dying breath that I loved her, I always loved her, and that if she could prevent this tragedy we could make our love real.
...she came here to prevent this...and is now telling to stop writing this like a love story and that I'm now no longer allowed to be within 50 meters of Homura at all times.
funny? hit or miss?

Silence in the face of evil is itself evil: God will not hold us guiltless. Not to speak is to speak. Not to act is to act.Not funny at all. Definite miss.
It's obvious that you're trying too hard to be funny. When that comes out, your jokes will always fall flat. Trying to cram as many silly things as possible in a rambling of words is less funny, more messy.
Good humor, I think, comes from a certain sharpness. Rather than a string of nonsensical, hard to follow events, you need to arrange a certain structure, then hit hard with a witty line or two.
You're forcing yourself to try to be funny. Just let it happen naturally.
I'm sorry. * scratches back of my head*
Well, it's most important that I tried. I'll have to find that perfect opportunity to pop one in. *continues scratching my head, now itchy*
Silence in the face of evil is itself evil: God will not hold us guiltless. Not to speak is to speak. Not to act is to act.Okay.
First of all, what Star said. I believe I've told you this before.
Second, you say that you want to make the Madokaverse more crapsack than it was before? Okay....
Do you know what makes Madoka's world a crapsack world? Inevitability. Nothing you do will change the end result, only delay it. The heat death of the universe is inevitable, and all the Incubators can do is delay it by creating Magical Girls. Magical Girls turning into Witches is inevitable, and all they can do is delay their transformation by slaying other Witches, who were once ordinary girls just like them, and taking their Grief Seeds for their own personal use. Madoka's world is cruel, it is crapsack because there is nothing you can do to change your fate, with a grand total of one, literally godlike exception: Madoka herself, and even in her new world there is still nothing you can do to change your fate. The only difference is that you now die properly (or enter Magical Girl Valhalla) instead of turning into a Witch, which is good because then at least you don't turn into the very monsters you sacrificed your soul to kill.
By adding Demon's Souls and Old Ones and all that, you are actually making it less crapsack - darker, certainly, but less crapsack. You are giving the Magical Girls a tangible enemy. You are giving them something they can fight. You are giving them a chance to change their fate for the better, and they can do it with their own strength instead of needing a godlike exception like Madoka.
You're giving them a chance to earn a happy ending.
In your very own description, you say that the Old One can be defeated:
and that there is a happy ending:
That's not called making it more crapsack. You're making it darker, but not more crapsack.
Just pointing out.
That is all she needed. That is all... Her dreams of seeing the world have become her strength, and lifts her wings.
...touche.
You're right. I suppose if things got more widespread and things had a good while for things to settle in (as they have in Demons Souls and Dark Souls) it would jump all the way down to crapsack, but it's not really, and you're totally right.
Just very dark, not super crapsack.
I suppose story-wise, it hasn't been that long. It'd be either when it starts or a bunch of girls get sucked in/enter and meet the suriviors inside. Things will go from bad to Oh, Crap! when the demons start tinkering with Puella Magi bodies and Witches start eating Demons Souls.
Demons Souls had that same "You're eventually screwed" thing. You're hunted down and slaughtered by demons, mad humans, or demon slaves and join them, or you revive as a soul who needs to regain their body or fade away, and even then you'll die over and over until you finally disappear forever or a demon goes Charlotte on your soul and feeds it to the old one. And even if you do all of this, there is no good way out. The hero either turns evil and joins the Old one, or turns into a statue to suppress him, like your predecessors did . Oh, and the old one is pretty much the god of this world. One doesn't exist, it's the closest thing to one. When you die your soul floats around waiting to be eaten by something. It's the hero's good end sacrifice that makes it bearable until his restraining bolt on it falls apart.
Granted you're in a very bad place, and they said that the outside world isn't peaches and cream. World 1 is supposedly use to be one of the better kingdoms in the planet.
Funny how two Crapsack Worlds can be crossover'd to create a happy ending for both.

So if I throw an Infinity Sword at Ciel, does she throw an Infinity +1 Sword back at me? :P
