Well, it's possible. She's a bit of a team player, although her impulsive nature often tempts her to act outside of any premade battle plans. She would have exasperated Homura and Mami with that flaw of hers should she have spent time in post ep12 Mitakihara, that's for sure.
One angle I might have wanted to play was a language barrier preventing Ciel from becoming too close with the native meguca, but then again she could just use magic to "download" Japanese, or have learnt it during her tertiary education. Perhaps her lack of skill with JPN makes her misintepret some of the things she hears, and she's only able to work truly effectively with a meguca who also learnt her English well?
She would have a base of ops centered around her hotel room, and play up her tourist/holiday-goer angle to help her cover for being all over the city.
Make her swords more defensively designed, with emphasis on the guards. This way she can use her weapons defensively, with a focus on parrying and deflecting attacks.

The three finest things in life are to splat your enemies, drive them from their turf, and hear their lamentations as their rank falls!Aha! Ciel would totally be One Of Us and have learnt much of her informal Japanese from watching too much anime. Cue odd looks as she mangles her Japanese grammar.
The three finest things in life are to splat your enemies, drive them from their turf, and hear their lamentations as their rank falls!Or use the wrong honorifics at the wrong time (or any cultural mistake in general), leading to much shock and horror among her more conservative-minded companions!
and also i will find a way to mention the Seventh Scripture around Ciel at some point in time

That is all she needed. That is all... Her dreams of seeing the world have become her strength, and lifts her wings.I expect her to try and correct herself when she realises her mistakes, with an even split on the odds of whether she digs herself deeper or manages to apologise. She'll definitely come to appreciate Alicia once her mistakes are clarified by her.
Seventh Scripture? Ahahaha, if that comes up while she's enjoying some self-made curry...
Also, I fully expect someone to nickname her boyfriend Zero, much to her amusement.

The three finest things in life are to splat your enemies, drive them from their turf, and hear their lamentations as their rank falls!Haha, that sounds good. Asuka would pretty much just go with it whenever Ciel mangles something horribly. Maybe just smile and giggle slightly. I don't think she would get too angry with Ciel for just leaping into things. A little peeved if things get out of hand, yes. Then she may put her foot down.
Having her hotel room be her base of ops makes me think of Homura's super cool headquarters. Asuka would also gladly offer up her snazzy apartment for meguca meetings. :3
I can picture her hotel room already.
She'll have a portable router set up in a corner next to her stack of charging cables, her clothes will be laid out ready-to-go (oh hey a black "stealthy" number for night missions), and her laptop will be chained to the table with a place set aside for her smartphone. True to her Singaporean Student nature, she'll maintain her cover with some textbooks, one of them concealing her meguca notes and cheatsheets of her partners-in-arms back in Singapore. The room's HD TV will be hooked up as a secondary display for her laptop, all the better for throwing her electronic notes out for easier viewing. To contrast with Homura's stark futuristic look, she'll even have a Kinect (or an infrared-bar plus Wiimote combo) hooked up for gesture-controlling the datafiles on display on the TV, with wires going all over the room giving it a more disorganized look in line with her impulsiveness.
Where Homura resorts to the latest fancy tech with wireless everything, Ciel brought a bunch of gadgets she got used to from home, giving her a semi-dated feel of the modern holiday-going Singaporean Student who brought their homework and some electronic toys along for the holiday, with cables everywhere to power everything. She'll get really annoyed if she accidentally breaks or loses her own gadgets on the field (Do electronics dropped in a Barrier vanish if left behind?).
I originally wanted to have a meguca who relied on enchanted Nerf blasters and enchanted darts, but eh. Maybe at some point Ciel will try using such a blaster to offset her range weakness, before she realises the dropped ammo vanishes if she doesn't retrieve it before the Barrier collapses.
Come to think of it, Ciel might display the very Singaporean tendency to make kiasu (paranoid) plans, then throw them out for improvised Indy Ploys as things happen not as planned.

The three finest things in life are to splat your enemies, drive them from their turf, and hear their lamentations as their rank falls! And I do too.
and I think I will join in. You two managed to win me over.
I would post profiles, but it's three am here and I need to sleep As to what to use, out of the four I talked about before I like the evil first girl , and the first good girl I mentioned.
(well, the striked reason above and also I have no concept how their magical girl forms should look like)
Think there's a need for a penultimate boss and a rich kid of hidden depths?

Silence in the face of evil is itself evil: God will not hold us guiltless. Not to speak is to speak. Not to act is to act. It's Tuesday on my end already, but then I'm 12 hours ahead of Savant and it's only morning. Oh well~ *waits patiently*
@Nick: The only ones who know the plot at the moment would be Starbound and Red Savant, so you'd have to ask them if you want to get more involved in the plot.
That is all she needed. That is all... Her dreams of seeing the world have become her strength, and lifts her wings.Yeah it's monday on the American East Coast. Wait a few hours..
The Crystal Caverns A bird's gotta sing.
Sounds cool to me. I was kinda thinking of having Michiko be somewhere in between "veteran Puella Magi" and "New Meat". Sort of like a cadet platoon leader.
Ciel is in the upper age bracket, so she'll probably have some experiences and memories to share. I imagine the others might get jealous that she can get and keep a boyfriend.
I can picture her relating one of her more traumatic battles, one hand carefully holding up some Majuu remnants to her Gem as she calmly purges the visibly growing Despair while talking about her past.

The three finest things in life are to splat your enemies, drive them from their turf, and hear their lamentations as their rank falls!I almost gave Asuka a boyfriend, though being single would free her up for more meguca stuff and kill any excuses she'd have to make for her disappearances. But, who knows? XD
I imagine she's had her fair share of experiences she'd be willing to talk about. Could be why she'd be so adamant about training the newbies.
For Ciel's case, her boyfriend totally covers for these days, ever since a Noodle Incident where he discovered that she was meguca. Since they're practically young adults now, he had her move in with him and he would cover for why she had to "be elsewhere" on some occasions. He also taught her some soldier's tricks from his training in National Service - whoever said BMT was useless?
The only downside is that some people are pretty jealous that she supposedly gets that much loving, and all their parents insist they get married once the bf finishes his 2 years of NS full time.
The three finest things in life are to splat your enemies, drive them from their turf, and hear their lamentations as their rank falls!
I like how fleshed out you've made her background. :D Now I want to root for her to survive so she can get some kind of happy ending. <3
Asuka still hasn't made amends with her parents, as doing so would cause problems now that she's taking out demons and whatnot. That doesn't mean they won't come sniffing around at some point, though...
Ciel is a survivor, who has been kept going because of her boyfriend. If there's a reason why her Gem still shines, it's her bf, who has been an endless pillar of support ever since he found out she was meguca. She also has her colleagues and ex-sisters in arms to thank for their support, cooperation, and friendship. Even thinking about his smile can visibly slow down and sometimes even stop corruption of her Gem.
In the pre-Madokami timeline, Ciel did Witch out, but it was due to a combo of overexertion of her Gem in a desperate last-ditch effort to finish off a particularly nasty Witch paired with the painful knowledge that that Witch was her former mentor. This time around, her mentor merely faded away because Madokami spirited her away to meguca-Valhalla, so she merely had to go on without her oldest friend ;_;
Story-wise, she is more likely to die due to random instakill or because she deliberately decides someone else deserves to live more than she does.

The three finest things in life are to splat your enemies, drive them from their turf, and hear their lamentations as their rank falls!![]()
That's a good way to keep from corrupting! I'm thinking Asuka only really has her fellow DJ friends and her wish for harmony to keep her from fading away to Madoka's magical land. Her parents could become a big part of her soul gem continuing to shine should they want to be involved in her life again — but we'll see how that works out in the future.
And oh, pre-reboot stuff! I don't see Asuka as the type to witch-out. More than likely she got killed in battle somehow. Need to work on those details later.
Take your time, Savant.

My meguca has had her profile
expanded.
