Not long afterwards the girls that had to deal with the event of the witch attack gathered on a nearby café to discuss just how this event would change their lives and perception of the world.
The café was a picturesque little place, with a cozy interior and a fresh and bright terrace sitting space. Kyubey, of course, went with the girls and was currently sitting on a chair, unseen by almost everyone.
Andrea wandered the streets of Fujiwara now, bemused at the new state of affairs that Hiroko's wish had brought. Though she mused that it actually wasn't such a bad idea given the circumstances. And it certainly seemed to be foolproof, unlike her own disastrous wish.
As she passed a small cafe she noted that she could hear the voices of the three emanating from within. Odd. When she glanced inside she saw that they had convened with Kyubey. She grimaced and hovered around, out of sight, to eavesdrop.
Kitkat Kitkat / He's our man / If any one screws up / He sure can -ImcaChiyo paused, and then tried it herself.
Whoa, this is weird…
She took a moment, seemingly trying to get the hang of it. Her thoughts then rang out pretty clearly:
By the way, what ended up happened to Kagawa-sensei? No, wait, actually, don't tell me, I kind of want to keep it a surprise. But did the wish work?

"I think so. It's been a bit of hectic day, of course, so I can't say that I'm worry free or anything, but I'm pretty sure what's left isn't really anything you two aren't going through as well." The curse certainly stopped affecting me as soon as you and Andrea killed the witch. "It's kind of a shame I had to miss class, though. But don't worry about me," figuring out exactly what's going on here is more important, I think. How did it feel to use magic like that?
Chiyo was switching between thought-speak and mouth-speak quite fluidly, trying to give to the appearance of a normal conversation to anyone who might be listening.
"That's good to hear, Chiyo-chan. I'm definitly glad you're feeling better, though it is a shame you missed class," Hiroko replied with a closed-eyed smile. It felt... kind of good. Like I was doing something that I had to do, that I'd finally be able to fight that witch thing.
"Oh, dear. The toad, the monkey, and the dog have all screwed up."— Makoto Tomoe —
Tomoe lay on her futon, trying to think. What was Kyubey up to? She had to know. After all, what girl possibly deserved to end up suffering for her wish, only to-
She didn't want to think about that.
"Tomoe, time for dinner!"
"Okay!" She responded, and sat up. "I'll be there in a sec!"
She stole a brief glance at her soul gem, a light yellow, then put it in her pocket and got up. It would be better to sleep on this.
I think about this tommorow, she thought, after all, I have a week before I need to go to school.
"Well, while Magical Girls are born from hope and wishes, witches are born from despair and curses. Their entire existence is dedicated to causing suffering and death on this world. They usually hide themselves on their barriers from the which they slowly draw humans in, though sometime they'll mark humans with Witch Kisses to put them under their influence"
"That's about it, as far as useful information goes. Since they are such a threat, Magical Girls are required to keep the peace"
"And indeed, all witches have their own worlds inside their barriers"

Hikari offered her hand to Chiyo.
