So I recently developed an interest in choir gospel music...

...and discovered that drawing to gospel is a wonderful thing.

I personally prefer the variety of gospel that is sung by a chorus without instrument accompaniment (instruments, I feel, distract from the chorus and muddle the passion within the song), like this rendition of Amazing Grace by the Soweto Gospel Choir.

Unfortunately, my knowledge of this music doesn't extend very far. Is anyone able to recommend to me some of this variety of gospel?

Check out "Sweet Honey In The Rock". They don't only do gospel, but the gospel they do is magnificent.

Another one: Saints United Voices — a Mormon gospel chorus led by Gladys Knight. The video is of a dance troupe that's unrelated; I linked it for the music
