And it doesn't take a lot of time to pull a trigger. (Plus Sonic had to run all the way there from Crazy Gadget, which sure took ME a long time! XD)
I always found it funny how no matter what was going on in the story you could head to Chao World if you got a key during a level.

The Protomen enhanced my life.No idea who what is but good to hear. Is he a big name in the fan community?
Are explosions science?@Pushover Media Critic Sonic doesn't have any acceleration issues, especially in the boost games, I don't know where you got that idea from.
I'm willing to admit that I'm in the wrong about that scene now, you where able to prove my opinion as incorrect.

After 10 year plus years I have the confidence to be here. My one and only Fate servent. For me, the bigger issue with guns in Shadow the Hedgehog is that a lot of them are not fun to use. Most of them just shoot a set of bullets towards whatever shadow is locked on to. They're slow, visual uninteresting, have no combo potential, and feel very similar.
There were a few guns that were fun like the Egg gun that let you suck in enemies and then fire them as ammo. It also collected rings and other objects. I think that if the guns in the game were more fun and weird like that then I would have enjoyed using them more. I don't need them to be as crazy as Ratchet and Clank weapons but maybe closer to Jak and Dexter with ricocheting bullets and wave motion stagger guns.
It looks like the new Black Doom powers that Shadow is getting are basically all the things I wanted the guns to do. They actually stagger the enemies which helps create faster combo based gameplay. They also look very fluid and help generate movement instead of stopping it.

I guess then my hot take today is I actually found many of the guns a lot of fun to use. I dunno, I guess I'm just willing to go with the flow and be okay with what the game's decided to do.
All this gun talk probably makes it look like I'm upset they're not back. I'm not, I'm very happy with what they're doing with Shadow Generations and am looking forward to it.
I'm trying to avoid seeing too much content, though. I unfortunately saw Metal Madness and what looks like Dusty Desert, but could just be some other ruins or desert level.
The extremely generous auto-aim for the guns in Shadow were made to fit with the high speed gameplay, and they succeeded in that regard - you really can just gun down enemies without even needing to slow down once you've figured out where that auto aim range is (depending on the weapon's damage and the enemy's health, of course)
And while there isn't a lot of variety, there is still some. Guns (auto and semi-auto), laser guns (just guns but they penetrate targets), homing launchers (which are literally just Gamma/Eggman gameplay from the Adventure games but tacked onto Sonic), explosives (the only weapons without any form of auto aim, but with high damage and some aoe to make up for it - definitely worth using with the strafe button), the vacuum gun (meh), melee (bad), and the 6 special weapons (which are souped up versions of the other 6 categories)
The game has other issues, but I'd honestly go so far as to say that the guns are one of its greatest strengths.
"vacuum gun cheese strats"
I don't know what that is, but I actually have encountered literal "vacuum gun cheese strats" in Buried in Time, where you find yourself in a space station that doesn't have gravity, and the only way to get around is to fire cheese out of a compressed can.

And I'll agree with this video I didn't watch because another person said it better most definitely.
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice. So I've gotten most of the Lego sets. A couple hours ago I built the new one with Knuckles and Amy and the Master Emerald shrine...and it does not come with the Master Emerald. However at the top of the mound is a spot...that fits the Master Emerald base that came with the Knuckles/Rouge set.
Well played, Lego.
Fortunately I already had that one, but still, well played.

Sonic can get up to high speed, but his acceleration is slow. It takes him a couple seconds to move faster than your average person, and like a minute to break the sound barrier. He can't just zip across a room instantly.
