For Sonic’s Birthday,
Classic and modern Sonic grab some ice cream from that one ice cream vendor from Unleashed.
Apologies if this has been shared before.
Youtuber Chaomix has done an 18-minute video on how Sonic discourse in the 2010s afected the franchise and its perception. In particular, he looks at how irony poisoning
(@9:48) made sincere discussion of Sonic difficult.
To be clear, I DON'T care for the "well acktshually" comments. I like my Sonic games, the way I like them, Sonic Heroes and all.

Sonic hasn't been good since the founding of Standard Games in 1940.

I assure you, I'm perfectly trustable personHonestly, the only good game Sonic was in was Rad Mobile.
FWIW Chaomix does some interesting videos and is pretty invested in discussing various aspects of Sonic lore. Rather than talk about how to make Tails work in 3D gameplay or how Sonic games reward skilled gameplay with higher paths, he asks the real questions like
...how people actually live in City Escape?
...how much property damage Sonic caused in that city?
The full lore of Project Shadow and the Space Colony ARK, and an additional video adding in the lore like Emerl and the updates post-Sonic Adventure 2.
...what if people discussed the Mario games like Sonic games?
Emi Jones is back with a new Sonic and Tails R, and it's got Jason Griffith as Sonic and DAVID HUMPHERY as Shadow!

Yeah, Sonic X has been done for almost 20 years. (GEEZ! Show of hands, who feels old?)
I think we're more than due for a new anime. I highly recommend from either Studio Trigger or Science Saru.
Yeah, I think we're also ready for a shake-up on how it handles human/animal population. A new anime would be great to really show what TailsTube established, namely that animals primarily live in islands while humans live mostly in big cities.
EDIT: Page topper...
