Actually I remember Sonic 3's PC version had that same bug unless you either fiddled with an ini file, got a patch or played in fullscreen.
Also Sid-Starkiller mentioned Burning Blaze might be coming to Sonic Dash. And got ignored. What is this, Burning Blaze's first ingame appearance in who knows how long?
Are explosions science?Speaking of '06 I found an interesting entry on Green Is Blue.
"The conflation of blue and green in Japanese causes one line to come across very strangely in the English dub of Sonic the Hedgehog (2006). The word for blue/green in Japanese has connotations similar to the words "green" or "greenhorn" in English: someone who is a bit naïve and new to their position. When Mephiles describes the Iblis Trigger as a "blue hedgehog," Blaze's response is to look at Silver and mumble "blue hedgehog...?" The game isn't necessarily implying she knows Sonic: in Japanese, she interprets Mephiles' mention of a "blue hedgehog" as a "green hedgehog" instead, so she turns to Silver, a naïve (i.e. "green") hedgehog. The blue/green distinction in English makes this line fairly untranslatable in the context of the Sonic series (English speakers don't see Sonic as green, they see him as blue, so the wordplay doesn't work) without a lot more work that the game absolutely did not have time for."
The Protomen enhanced my life.Yeah, Amy honestly makes out like a bandit in Prime. Tails gets one variant who's the biggest deal out of any one variant. Knuckles gets one variant who's an in-your-face scenery-chewer and gets a lot of focus. Rouge is also present. But Amy gets three variants who are ALL bangers. She's present in the show as a trifecta of awesome characters who get tons of great moments both individually and together.
However, the things that define the three Amies and make them so effective is that they're all fleshed out and developed as interesting characters outside of their relationship with Sonic. The show really goes all-in on examining Amy Rose as a unique character. Sonic's still there and he and Amy still have a friendship, but the stories of the three Amies aren't about him.
Nine, Dread, and the three Amies are the biggest reasons to watch Prime, hands-down.

My Tumblr. Currently side-by-side liveblogging Digimon Adventure, sub vs dub.Yes. Some people perceive the ending as open-ended, but to me, it's a clear case of (intentional) And the Adventure Continues. The main plotline, conflict and villains are all dealt with.

And the Adventure Continues to me is usually the big villain being bested, Sonic and co racing to the camera and attacking it. Yeah there's a new threat but they've got it handled.
This seemed ominous. Sonic goes "aw you got to be kidding me" and we saw a blue shimmer, as if to say "this isn't over" and there's still some Paradox Prism shenaningans going on.
They could end on it this but some acknowledgement that this was Eggman again and not some unseen threat would've been nice.

Its plot is completely concluded, but there’s a brief two second moment where something spooks the characters just before the episode ends.
So, it’s a full ending with a jump scare at the end. The End... Or Is It?. But you could also call it And the Adventure Continues I think, yeah.
This is actually the one benefit of it being part of the main canon: of course the adventure continues, we know Sonic will continue to fight Eggman with his friends after this. What matters is the main issues introduced in this work, chiefly Sonic being trapped in the alternate dimensions, Nine's betrayal and the machinations of the Egg Council have all been dealt with.
But that's what I mean - The End... Or Is It?.
If this was Eggman there was no need to do a massive blue shimmery event like what happened each time one of the worlds was being affected.
The main plot is over with implications of a sequel. It's unlikely that we're getting another Sonic Prime however. The animation in that series was likely very expensive.
It depends. The weird secret agent butler dude, the obnoxious heavyset maid, and the introduction of a child companion to the cast weren't my preferred decisions.
If they'd do something in the vein of the Sonic CD opening - that art style, an adventure story rather than a sitcom, and iconic characters - I'd be all for it.

Edit: Page topper! Responding to someone cracking a joke about how Sonic is too fast for somebody's computer.
