tbh I would prefer if Eggman's dynamic with his larger robots doesn't change at all, in deliberate contrast to how he treats Sage.
Not only does it allow for story telling opportunities (how would Metal Sonic feel about Sage being his prized daughter while it's still used as nothing more than a weapon by the doc? How would these feelings influence its behavior (given it can't say anything or traditionally emote as-is)?), but it also serves as a reminder that Eggman's bonds with people isn't what makes him such a cruel, cruel person to begin with. Whether any particular game wants to portray that cruelty in a comedic fashion, a serious fashion, or a balance of the two.
Eggy's dynamic with his other kids doesn't really need to change much if at all. Metal Sonic is the firstborn with all the maturity and responsibility, but Eggy doesn't talk with him much. Orbot and Cubot are the slightly off kilter twins, who get middle child syndrome and are given the more menial tasks. Sage is the baby that gets doted on. The dynamic with the first three is pretty well established between the Boom show, IDW, the shorts from Colors Ultimate, and brief mention in the Egg Memo in Frontiers.
Instead of the weird desaturated audio filter when you boost in a Sonic game, I actually would prefer a Eurobeat filter, where the music transforms into a Eurobeat remix of itself when your boost kicks in.

, and the original gem is still in the Classic era somewhere.
He also says that Infinite is MIA (neither dead or alive) but he does want to have him active one day.
A bit late, but better late than never!
- Sonic Channel's January 2024 illustration
marks the return of Merlina (and Caliburn)! (Did anyone peg Merlina as a Lethal Chef?)
- Late Christmas related illustration: Everywhere Shadow goes, he sees reminders of her.
(IYKYK.)
- And a wild NiGHTS had appeared!
(Side note: didn't Sonic Channel have wallpapers you could put for your computer or smartphone? How come we haven't seen one of those for January 2024 yet?)
Anyone else went to the Sonic Symphony World Tour back on December 15? I went with my mom and I had a blast, especially in the second half!

Sonic Music Facts has found the song that "The Cauldron" from Black Knight was remixed from, and with the previous revelation that Tallerico's credited songs from Black Knight are also remixes from someone within his studio, it is now confirmed Tallerico did no music for Black Knight.

Anyone notice Shadow wearing the scarf Tails gave him in that Christmas drawing? Guess he was secretly touced by that gift.
Shadow Took a Level in Kindness, developing more fully into the 06 depiction of him. Highly perceptive as always.
Loved how Shadow took the “firm but kind approach on Sonic getting close to the Despair Event Horizon…by telling him to “focus on the mission” in the nicest way possible.
IIRC they actually fielded that one (at least, the Shadow part) in one of the twitter takeovers.
Eggman's answer was basically "git gud at genetics, fans."
Edit: Ah, couldn't find it isolated (it's probably Twitter Takeover #3) but someone made an animatic of it at some point:

I think Sage would have a funny dynamic with Orbot and Cubot if they appeared together.
I think Eggman doting over Sage would be a fun contrast to Metal Sonic, who he literally stripped the individuality and freedom from.
