The people want legit Super designs for Amy and co and Sega keeps saying NO.
That Spider-girl concept along with the bat are some of the coolest unused designs I've ever seen. I hope the IDW crew gets their eyes on it and brings it to life in some way.

Hey, so, I apologize if this was asked in the past, but if you could make a Sonic zone/level, what would it be like? Mine would be a Creepy Cathedral, and would be in a 3d game to show off the architecture, as well as so Sonic could grind on the flying buttresses and other features. I'm not sure what badniks it would have (other than gargoyles, obviously), but the boss would be a giant robot bat which would attack by screaming. In order to damage it you would have to hit it in it's mouth when it was open before it screamed, and thus when you beat it Sonic would quip "He should have kept his mouth shut!". Also, the music would be a rendition of Volcano Valley Act 1.

I'd go with a blend of 1920s Art Deco architecture and cybercore neon and grunge. But then again these are proudly my two most favorite aestheses (well the neon part, not the grunge) after the iPod look, to begin with. The basic idea would be an Open Zone take on a metropolis like New Yolk City and Radical Highway that would feature Sonic grinding on colorful neon esque rails adns caling skyscrapers. The music would prolly be an Electro Swing take on Digital Cave.
The mobs there would take after urban processions and criminals such as the mafia, mixed in with laser-wielding swordsmen, vehicles like the GUN truck and police-men with electrified riot sticks. Maybe even add the SWAT-Bots from certain media as well, Special Weapons And Tactics for the city.

I'd make Clockwork Volcano zone, which would be exactly what it sounds like.
I’d personally do a museum themed level.
With a mechanical T Rex as a boss. One based on modern scientifically accurate models of them (minus the feathers)*. Armed with a flame thrower (based on realistic flamer throwers) Breath Weapon (with lingering flames for area denial) and an internal compartmententalized chain gun in its belly (to punish attempts to out maneuver it by running underneath.
- Modern models and theories place the animal as MUCH scarier than the ones from Jurrassic Park or Jack Horner’s beliefs.
Sure its garbage at running, but its a quick walker. With built in food pads making it a lot quieter than you’d expect. Also quite agile for a predator its size, which along with being built to be able to take A LOT of punishment and a prehistoric equivilant of an anti tank weapon makes it a good fit for its primary hunting strategy…combat against well armed and armored prey (its bite force is suspected of being strong enough to shatter bone like glass, making bony armor useless).

I think I like the museum one the best. Also, I'm not positive it would be like, but I always thought that the Blue Savannah (Zone) sounded like the name of a Sonic level, especially due to the line "Racing across the desert, at a hundred miles an hour." I was thinking it would be 2d and would look like an African Savannah type place but all the plants would be blue or something.

Sonic gets shrunken down by Eggman and put into a children's room full of toys. The stage would be made of lego blocks and the badniks would be little toys, think sort of like Clockwork Knight if you ever heard of that game. The boss would be Eggman himself building different vehicles/weapons/animals out of the legos and trying to kill sonic with them.
I think about theoreotical sonic levels a bit lol. I had another idea for a water stage where Eggman is running a big brewery and the water is beer and eating too many air bubbles makes sonic drunk for a bit and makes his momentum a bit harder to stop for a limited amount of time.
I was joking about actually having "I am the Walrus", and working with Jackson himself is a lot easier than working with his Estate.
I'll have to give some thought to what a zone I might want would be. I'd imagine I'd probably take a lot of inspiration from other media, if I don't want to repeat existing themes. Having said that, my other screen is currently open to my Steam library, and there's tons of ideas that could be had based on Portal 2, Psychonauts, Ikaruga, Okami, Shantae...
LEGO leak gives us our first look at Mecha Knuckles
Sorry, a Mecha being piloted by Knuckles -- Rouge is also here with her Goblin Glider
I'd love a remake of the SegaSonic Popcorn Shop someday. it's a cute game.
The Protomen enhanced my life.I think Sonic 06 could potentially be adapted better to film than the game we actually got.
As for the next movie to come out, I hope it goes close to canon, and actually gives a lot of information on everything relating to the ARK, including the Gizoid project. I'd like for the stories of Adventure 2, Shadow, Battle, and potentially bits of Chronicles to be connected and detailed. And I definitely want Rouge and Amy to be involved.
As for the growing up story they're giving Sonic, if this movie sees Sonic and his friends go back to their own world (a la Sonic X), but to rebuild it, and still maintain a connection to Earth, I'd like that. And yeah, I'd like it if that world was named Mobius. (It apparently is so named in the novelization)

New article from TouchArcade
regarding Sonic Dream Team. Some interesting facts from this:
- Characters are unlocked via story progression, built for high-replay value. High-skill ceiling for speedrunners
- Free flowing movement, developed with touch and controller in mind
- Developed for under two years
- Plans for post-launch content
- The Hardlight staff are huge fans of Cream the Rabbit

I mean, getting the effects without a design change has been a thing since 1994. Flashing white in 2D games (afterimages for Hyper), and golden aura in Superstars.
At least Sonic Heroes had different animations for Tails and Knuckles.
