I haven't seen it in a decade, but the plot is simple. Ghost girl want photos of scared people, and her goons scare Chip. Then Werehog and goons fight off.
There is a Plot Hole about how Sonic somehow doesn't transform into the Werehog until full moon, which is not how he transforms in the game, but hey, nobody cares.
To win, you need to adapt, and to adapt, you need to be able to laugh away all the restraints. Everything holding you back.I honestly believe that they are. The company frequently posts a lot (and I do mean a lot) of art involving Lah, Su, and Uh by themselves on their Twitter account. Goes back to at least 2019-ish as far as I could find when I was looking for the official tweet that had the three of them appear in the IDW Comics.
The company is under Sega Sammy Holdings, so, take that for what you will, but I believe they fall under the whole same reason why we haven't seen the Sonic X and Metarex stuff outside of those adaptations.

Considering there's three of them, I'm surprised no one has pitched a Sonic Heroes team for them yet.
I don't recall anything about Marza, so I had to look them up
to see what they do. So they're one of SEGA Sammy's in house animation teams, and a subsidiary of a subsidiary
... in that they were originally a subsidiary of SEGA Sammy, then became a subsidiary of TMS after SEGA Sammy bought TMS. I guess it's a good thing that SEGA Sammy is having TMS take lead on animation.

Marza was responsible for animating Sonic Drone Home and Sonic the Hedgehog 2 (2022), right?
I love animation, TV, movies, YOU NAME IT!Wait... Whose ghost kids are those? WHOSE ARE THEY, SEGA?! I'M HAVING SONIC 06 FLASHBACKS!
(Thankfully, they look nothing like Sonic or the Werehog. I think we can assume they're not his despite the mermaid ghost's fondness for him)

Oissu!Based on all my scouring the tag research on Marza's Twitter, I...can't really tell you.
Like these sketches imply they were added to their mansion
, so I'm going to assume they're like adopted baby ghosts
?
There is art of this trio that go back to 2019, so I wonder how long they were cooking this animation for.

I didn't really like Fred as Knuckles, and I'm gonna be worried if Knuckles in this continuity turns into "Drax at home." And I was hoping to see some more interaction between Knuckles and Tails not involving Sonic. But that's not what this short was trying to be. As far as animation goes, if they decide to do fully animated films, it could work.

Sega Hardlight is teasing something Sonic related
, and that Ian Flynn is up to something again
.
Is it more Forces Speed Battle content? A new game? That leaked thing a few years ago that was going to be a successor project after Forces Speed Battle is finished?

I have no idea why people keep hiring Arzest? Balan Wonderworld was horrible and, while I will defend Yoshi's New Island and Yoshi's Island DS as being solid games, I attribute that solely to Nintendo's higher quality standards and oversight. I don't know how fair it is to say that a studio isn't competent, because I don't want to put down the skills of people just doing their jobs and I'm not a game dev, but Arzest needs to get better at making games. Sonic Team as a whole needs an overhaul since I really want to see Sonic be on par with his contemporaries. Frontiers, which I do need to finish, is a huge step in the right direction, though still rough, and I really hope Sonic Team carries the momentum to future games.
Once Upon A Time.Sonic Superstars was their best game yet...
They just had too much on their plate, remove like half the things they attempted to do and this game would've been way better.
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice. Also 24 levels (12 Zones of 2 Acts each) sounds pretty bad for a big budget platformer. For reference, Pizza Tower, an indie game made primarily by one guy that released for $20, has 20 levels and they're all decently long and intricate. DKC Tropical Freeze, another AAA 2d platformer, has 63 levels and they're decently long. They should've done 3 Acts per zone since 36 decently long levels sounds like a good amount. Not comparing it to Super Mario Bros. Wonder since Mario generally goes for a higher quantity of shorter levels (and Wonder was still a tad shorter than I was hoping)

Once Upon A Time. It's 60 dollars, but it's not "big budget"...
For a 2D Sonic game without any actual story element, it's decent length.
It should've been cheaper because of that reason.

If it's releasing for $60, I expect much more. They should've priced it at $40 if they wanted a cheaper, shorter game. Ironically people saying that platformers aren't worth $60 is a bit of a Berserk Button for me (especially with how common Live Service games that launch with no content are nowadays)

Marza just released a Sonic less sequel to "Night of the Werehog" featuring the three ghosts.
