That opinion kinda reeks of Accentuating the Negative tho.
"Cynicism is not realistic and tough. It's unrealistic and kind of cowardly because it means you don't have to try."
Well, if most people will only get to play as the other characters for a few minutes before getting stuck after the game switches back to Sonic, that's what people will remember.
D Oes it really matter?
"Cynicism is not realistic and tough. It's unrealistic and kind of cowardly because it means you don't have to try."In 3D? Not at all.
This is Knuckles only 3D appearance where his glide isn't an aerial repositioning tool.
Heck, it's his only appearance period where it's an airdash.
Plus, iirc in the 2D games Knuckles could climb any verticle surface, which compensates for his jump limitations. You were supposed to use his other tools to allow for the same sort of exploration and platforming ability as the others. Here that's not really a thing because he can only climb specific surfaces.

Yeah, I think Wyvern might be just short of impossible when parries only work if they're nearly frame perfect.
Edit: Turns out lowering the difficulty loosens the timing on perfect parry. Glad they took that into account!

My musician pageThese towers are a freaking travesty.
After managing through the first one, I discover that the second is basically designed to be completed on Easy and becomes almost impossible on Normal - especially if you fail it once, because completing it involves destroying the objects you need to use to complete it (as resources, or alternatives to them, respawn on Easy, but don't on Normal).
Which, well, screw it. I'm just doing all of them on Easy going forward if that's how it's going to be.

I'm not sure if His World has any legal issues like the Sonic 3 soundtrack does. I think the reason why the Sonic 3 soundtrack has lots of legal issues is because the songs sounded too similar to some of Michael Jackson's songs. Whereas "His World" is an original song for the franchise.
I love animation, TV, movies, YOU NAME IT!The reason for the trouble for His World might be an age rating. One of the lines early in the song is "kicking ass fast", which would cause trouble if the game doesn't have a warning like "mild langauge" on the case from the ESRB. Sonic Frontiers only has the warning for fantasy violence, so that might be way His World wasn't used in the game. Long story short, the use of "ass" in the song might cause a ratings issue for a game, and might raise the game's rating to be an equivalent of the T rating from the ESRB. The rating might not what Sega wants, so the song isn't used in games lately.
If that's the case, then "His World" probably won't be used in any future Sonic game, unless they were able to take out "ass" in the lyrics or make a future Sonic game that's rated T (which I don't know if SEGA wants to go through that, after what happened with Shadow the Hedgehog.

I love animation, TV, movies, YOU NAME IT!"Mild Lyrics" is an actual content descriptor on Sonic Adventure 2. An E rated game. Granted, that has been bumped up to E10 now that the rating exists, but Sonic games use E10 ratings no problem. Sonic Frontiers has that rating.
I find that line of reasoning pretty flimsy, at best.

Once you get to Ouranos you can go right for it by simply turning around to look behind you and interacting with the ring portal.
Seems like they're going for a "both are canon" situation. In the sense that both are equally valid possibilities and neither are "non-canon" with what they bring to the table.
So, contrary to what lalalei2021 said, The End's character profile doesn't need to be changed. Since the information is still accurate.

According to the ESRB website, Sonic Frontiers is rated E10+ for fantasy violence. There is no mild lyrics warning, so that reason would apply to this game.
About not using previous theme songs, the jukebox mode added in the dlc has most of the original theme songs foe Sonic from previous games. So, that line of thinking doesn't apply to the His World problem.
My point was using Sonic Adventure 2 as a point of comparison with its "Mild Lyrics" label for why I thought the "kicking ass fast" line being a factor of SEGA favoring the instrumental version of His World was silly. I mentioned Frontiers' rating only to emphasize that if it HAD been in the game and a "Mild Lyrics" label needed to be added, it probably wouldn't change anything.

There's a boss rush. Just tbe first three, but No extra rings, parry for that fight only works with perfect timing.
