I mean, a Modern-Era sequel to Sonic the Fighters (with modern variants of Honey, Nack, Bean, and Bark, don't welch on us Sega) would be awesome AF.

In the case of an Adventure remake, do you think they will rewrite it?
Hmm, hard to say. I don't really care for the Sacred Cow nonsense, but I'm struggling to see what needs rewriting from those games. Maybe better voice or scene direction, but that's a separate thing.
I dread the thought because: who would do it?
Let's say Flynn does it. I enjoy the guy, but his quirks would annoy me in a hypothetical Adventure rewrite. What would he write? The English translation in the original game, or something more akin to the Japanese version?
To win, you need to adapt, and to adapt, you need to be able to laugh away all the restraints. Everything holding you back. One line I remember that stands for that is when Biolizard teleports, in English Shadow says "Is that what Chaos Control is?" which obviously doesn't make much sense as he's quite aware of what Chaos Control is. In Japanese he just says "Chaos Control ka!", the ka at the end indicates confusion or that it's a question. So presumably the translator wanted to extend the sentence out in English so Shadow isn't just saying "Chaos Control!?" but lacked context as where it was being said. In context Shadow really means more like "Whoa, did it just use Chaos Control?"
Honestly a generally overall of the story content with both Adventure games wouldn't be the worst idea. While getting as many of the original voice actors would probably be out of the question, a combination of better sound mixing, sensible animation/blocking in the cutscenes, an improved translation, and just better vocal direction of the performers would do a world of good.
I think lipflaps were the problem...but at the same time they couldn't just write "Was that...Chaos Control just now?!" Which would be an improvement.
Are explosions science? So I was doing a bit of simple math regarding main game "missions", not including bosses and modes not accessible from the main "map":
- Sonic Adventure 2: 30 action stages, 5 mission each + 1 Last Story 5 part stage, 5 missions each = Either 31 or 155 main game "Acts" of platforming stages
- Sonic Rush Adventure: 7 islands, 2 acts each + 16 hidden island = 30 main game "Acts" of platforming stages
- Sonic Colors (console): 7 planetoids, 6 acts each + 21 Simulator levels = 63 main game "Acts" of platforming stages
- Sonic Generations (console): 9 zones, 2 acts and 10 bonus challenges each = 108 main game "Acts" of platforming stages
- Sonic Frontiers:
- 30 Cyberspace stages + 6 Rhea Towers + 32 New Koco = 68 main game "Acts" of platforming stages not including the Open Zone
- ## Action Chain Challenges
- ## Overworld Memory Tokens

So, in this weird community that we are part of, there is a strong devotion to writer Shiro Maekawa because he was involved in 6 Sonic games, 3 that are beloved by the fanbase (Adventure 2, the storybook titles)
Does he count as My Real Daddy? Because I've been thinking about this, and maybe he does for the rodent. A lot of the content that got out of the hedgehog follow his ideas or the way he potray it. Flynn got a lot of inspiration from his work (even if you will notice he didn't fully capture it), and even the Sonic movie 2 uses one of his sentences (a line from 06, funny enough).
I don't know if this is appropiate, as Maekawa wasn't fond of the Genesis games, which were the ground of the creator of Sonic, Naoto Ohshima. There has been a resurgance on the Classic era content due to translations of the manuals, but I don't think it represents the content we see of the characters.
To win, you need to adapt, and to adapt, you need to be able to laugh away all the restraints. Everything holding you back.I'm not shocked.
Babies are capable of some nasty shit.
Like literally. They shit their pants all the time, and it's nasty.
One Strip! One Strip!

...That's Sonic X, right?
