I figured if they'd ever met, it would've been when Tails fixed up Omega and Gemerl. Actually, now that I remember it, he specifically couldn't fix them up without her help, as Eggman's tech is "weird."
Since I'm collecting the IDW books, I'm anxiously waiting getting to see Omega and Gemerl spar. IDW Omega is a treat.

Oh sweet, now I can actually vote! But I don't really have any preference between Wave or Marine, even though I played Rush Adventure. Based on design, character relationship, and being the underdog in this poll, I might go Wave, though hasn't Marine spent far more time out of the spotlight?

He should treat her the same way he treated Fixit
from Post-Reboot Archie.
As in, constant bullying for being an "inferior" model.
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does. You bet your sweet bippy that Marine's been out of the spotlight way more than Wave. Wave at least shows up in the Sonic Forces mobile game.
Nah, clearly we're living in an age of underdogs, because who would've guessed we'd be seeing new artwork of Elise, Vanilla, and now Marine after said characters haven't shown up in the games in a little over a decade? (Yeah, Advance 2-3, 06, and Rush Adventure are officially more than 10 years old. Anybody feeling the oldness crawling in?)
Granted, Marine's poll isn't done yet, but with the kind of lead she's got, it's inevitable. And yeah, this age of underdogs might be because there's a voting system going on, but I'm applauding the heck out of it.

If you don't want to watch the video, I'll shortened it: Pariah talks about how the Sonic series stopped "progressing", as the supporting characters don't feel like they stopped at a certain point and never move on. This is the reason, btw, he doesn't like the IDW comics.
My response is the cynical one: unfortunately, I don't ever see the series changing it's status quo due to its corporate nature.
It is nice Maekawa introduced so many plot threads with some sense of continuity, but he also introduced the status quo as he is the one who didn't bother developing Tails, Amy or Knuckles further. All his attention went to his golden boy. Why the Japanese staff in the 2000's didn't bother moving the characters forward is a mistery, and Pontac saw his work as writing an episodic saturday morning cartoon.
Hey, Flynn tried moving the character arcs, but I know, after too much torture with this community, it won't satisfy everyone. Oh well.

To win, you need to adapt, and to adapt, you need to be able to laugh away all the restraints. Everything holding you back.Pariah writes as if the Sonic series has an end in sight. Sonic Team sees the product as an episodic series, no different from a cartoon, except when they felt pretentious in the idiotic period.
The fact I had to listen to these debates again after leaving the Dragon Ball community, amazing. Pariah unintentionally is quoting Totally Not Mark and Mistarefusion.
To win, you need to adapt, and to adapt, you need to be able to laugh away all the restraints. Everything holding you back.I mean when a series used to adhere to continuity and actually had progression, it's kind of annoying when it just....stops.
Like it still bothers me a lot personally, but I mostly cope by just following franchises that make me happy like One Piece but it's not like those negative feelings go away.
Shit, I wish Sonic would switch up protagonists every now and then so it could tell fresh stories but that means pissing off fans of the old cast.
Can't win

A lazy millennial who's good at what he does. It'd be cool if Sonic subseries had arcs or whatever, but the main games shouldn't focus on stories like that.
I doubt every writer would become as biased, but the fact that Shadow was the only character to be an important hook for 4 games in a row is pretty lame.
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice.Thinking about it, Pariah video is only giving me deja vu. I swear I heard many of these arguments with Roger of Sonic Dissected. I should know, I edited that page...a decade ago? Jesus Christ.
Maybe this is the point where I had to stop watching him. All I'm getting is things I already heard, and those things are why I dislike Sonictubers now at days.
To win, you need to adapt, and to adapt, you need to be able to laugh away all the restraints. Everything holding you back.I mean, a decade ago is when Lost World was released. We used to get games every 1-2 years, and spinoffs as well, from 2001 to 2009.
Hell, take a look at the And the Fandom Rejoiced Sonic the Hedgehog page, how it starts with reactions to Sonic the Hedgehog 4, with takes that have turned into utter inane approaches.

Game development baby. Gotta love it.
I'd say Tails bad a pretty good multi game arc. Going from child sidekick to someone more independently from Sonic, but Obviously they weren't gonna completely separate Tails from Sonic, so they had to walk back on that.
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does. And Knuckles went from loner that at times teamed up, to actual friend. Heroes kept the characterization but disregarded most of the world beyond references in dialogue. Shadow 05 was relatively on point with characters other than its protagonist, but gave him the exact same crap approach Sonic has been getting since Unleashed (AKA, the only one who can do things). 06 had a neat Team Dark, Amy got toned down from the Heroes shenanigans, and Silver got a nice introduction, but Blaze and Team Sonic was mostly just there.
And then, gotta throw the baby with the bathwater after 06.
No seriously, I just don't get the "bad level design" argument people use in that one. Same design phylosophy as Adventure, but, expanded. Shame it took until a guy who had watched gameplay videos of the game decided to remake it for those to be fun.
Then again, I liked Marble Zone as a kid, so I guess I'm not the typical 90's fan.

So I borrowed my housemate's X Box controller to give P-06 a run... oh wow, I still have 3D Sonic muscle memory from my days playing on the Gamecube, that I believed was gone once I started playing on keyboard.
