HOW DOES SHE EARN A LIVING AS A SINGLE MOTHER!?
To win, you need to adapt, and to adapt, you need to be able to laugh away all the restraints. Everything holding you back.I wouldn't really consider Cheese and Chocola "kids". They're more equivalent to pets, which are much lower 'maintenance' than children.
Regarding how Vanilla makes a living, I recall asking that question to Ian Flynn years ago and he personally speculated (that is, not official info at all) that Vanilla is a "Chao Rancher", which I thought makes perfect sense. Though with how one of the Twitter Takeovers had the whole cast commend Vanilla's cooking, perhaps her official job is that of a chef lol
Chao are more like a Pokemon than a pet, given just how much they're capable of, and how they can be pretty self-sufficient. Some even have jobs, like in SA 2 or Murder.
It's funny, Even not dividing into specific animal species, there's a lot of sentient life in this world:
- "Mobians" (for lack of a better word)
- Humans
- Independent Robots and AI
- Badniks
- Small animals (Flickies and the like)
- Chao
- Ancients/Koco
- Wisps
- Zeti
Granted, one could argue not all small animals or Badniks have shown the same level of sentience, and the line of just how influence animals have on the Badniks they power is an interesting one. Is the badnik's personality an emergent gestalt of the badnik's base, and the specific animal and experiences it has?
... does that mean Chao produce some kind of profitable byproduct? Or...
Do people eat Chao?
Kaotic, you beautiful person, now I officially welcome that as my headcanon. She is a Chao caretaker who is also a great chef.

Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice.Eggman didn't build the train...considering what he said, it would've been literally any time after Sonic 1.
Seems a lot of people got confused on that.

Check out my art if you notice.Even if he didn't build the train, Eggman had to have modified it at some point, and the train said the conductor promised him they'd be together forever, to which the conductor said that he was a "young man" when he made that promise.
Also: "Let's Go Dad."

I guess that the train was sapient the whole time and that Eggman's recent modifications weren't responsible for that. I'm assuming that the arms are new, because otherwise I'm not sure what the Flicky was supposed to be powering, since the train was sapient before the modification, meaning the Flicky clearly wasn't needed for that bit.

I feel like those pins in Vanilla's ears are meant to represent hairpins, but those are ears, not hair. Those read more to me as piercings.
