If you mean if there's a metagame for Sonic games, then I couldn't tell you...
That got a chuckle out of me I admit.
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does. You can't really compare Sonic to Smash Bros. with how different the genres are. Melee wasn't meant by the devs to be a hardcore game, it just happened to have a depth to it that hardcore players mastered and made for a healthy tournament scene. Brawl was still aimed at the same general audience as Melee, it's just that the balance and changes made to gameplay made it less fun for hardcore players, who ended up deciding to mostly stick to playing Melee and killed Brawl's tournament scene. (And in either case, Nintendo didn't give a shit at all about supporting said tournament scene.)
Some Sonic games are harder than others, but they're generally all on the easier side (to just clear the storylines) because they're all primarily aimed at the same audience - little kids. The only particularly harder Sonic games that come to mind are the very first two, but that's almost entirely because they use the traditional live system where dying too much means you're starting the game all over from the beginning again. And even that was just done because it was considered the standard at the time.
Back on Tails Tube:
- Footage of Advance 3 (Chaos Angel Act 3, I think, and it has amazing music) was used when recounting past adventures. Confirming it, and by extension Advance 2 and Battle at least, as canon to that universe. Like I'd thought. It's still weird how Gemerl cameos far less frequently than references to Emerl. Gemerl apparently doesn't even cameo in the Olympic games? Weird. At least we could explain his and Cream's absence in Forces as Emerl taking care of Cream and Vanilla offscreen.
- The appearance of Jet confirmed something I was thinking of earlier: at the very least the first Riders game is canon. Of course, we already knew that as the Babylonians and Jet were mentioned in Frontiers by Eggman and Sonic, respectively.
- Also confirming the obvious, Sonic doesn't really live anywhere and just crashes on his little brother's couch.
Hmm. Over the course of the series (especially in the GBA games), we've seen homes for Knuckles, Tails, Amy, Rouge, and Cream. I kind of get the feeling Shadow's similar to Sonic and just crashes wherever. I also like this comic of Rouge crashing on Knuckles' island for a night.

Cool thing about the award is that it's from Japanese user votes, with the other nominations being that it was going up against God of War Ragnarök and Horizon Forbidden West, so to see Sonic (which historically never been as popular in Japan compared to the West) be a winner in Japanese population is pretty astounding. I don't know how popular the latter two are in Japan and PlayStation sooooo, that's the perspective at least.
Appropriate since Frontiers also won the award at Tokyo Game Show for most impressive game that was pretty hype worthy, which Kishimoto also commented on
.

Awards and a respectable spread of review scores, And yet you still see a lot of people who never actually engaged with it snarking about how "obviously terrible" Frontiers must be. (To be clear, that's not a knock against anyone who played the game and didn't like it, or even anyone who just saw the demo or other gameplay and decided they didn't like how it looked. I'm purely referring to people who didn't even look at the game and just assume it must suck because its Sonic).

Re:Hyper Potions: (content warning: abuse)
Kevin's ex-wife Evelyn came forward with how she was groomed by him.
Ian, the other member, gave a statement.
After being burned with the Hellena Taylor scandal and the Kwite allegations being debunked a mere week ago I’m staying neutral on this until the dust settles and more evidence either way comes to light. Not sure if Hyper Potions removing Kevin is a knee-jerk reaction or evidence that the allegations are true.

Once Upon A Time.Do you ''really'' want her to get more attention when you look how Shadow has been handled?

A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.We thought the same thing about Shadow when he died in SA 2 and then Aliens. You can never be too sure about these things.
There is such a thing as being too popular for your own good.
So (cocks Shotgun) you stay right there Blaze and be cool. I'll make sure they never ruin you ever.

Are you just trying to be in a bad mood or something?
Anyway, my favorite is and has always been Tails. Rouge is probably second. Sonic, Vector and Amy round out the top 5 in no particular order.

@TailsTube
Really interesting how they re-retcon away the Forces retcon that Classic Sonic was from another dimension, emphasizing that he's definitely Sonic from the past (which iirc an earlier TailsTube noted), but didn't walk back from the multiverse/dimensions idea just in case they wanted to use it later.
So in short, Classic Sonic's not from another dimension or universe, but that doesn't mean there aren't Sonics from other universes (Ian Flynn's gonna love that). One of the ones they show is even a take on Boom! Sonic with a design more like Game! Sonic, which was a fun nod.
That said, my favorite part was how the video's representation of "hardcore fans" was a Grumpy Jet in a Sonic hat, tho.
