You typically don't need to watch a full video to get the info that was asked about...
But disregarding bias, it's probably worth explaining if you aren't sure yourself.

Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice.I mean what do you want me to say? I can only speak from my perspective, and I'm not going to make any absolute, generalized statements. (I do that enough as it is...)
I like Pariah mostly for cutting through the bullshit and flowery language I usually see in Sonic videos. But other people like that stuff, so I don't know.
It depends entirely on what you're looking for, hence why I said "watch it yourself and be the judge" I can't tell people how they should feel about these videos.

A lazy millennial who's good at what he does. His gameplay videos (he has seperate videos for the stories) are uh... Unique to say the last. By that I mean he tends to use mods and reviews the games with the mods in mind. Let's just say that people weren't exactly happy he was reviewing a modded version of 06 because they felt he isn't going over the true game how it was released. Don't ask me what I think about playing games with mods, I never did so in my entire life. Also, get used to him referring to rings as other things. At 1st he just kept calling them coins, but after a certain point each video had him call rings something different.
Oh, and with the story videos he always goes over the Japanese version, so don't be surprised if the characters sound MUCH different than how you remember. Personally, despite how much I absolutely love the game and its story, I am not looking forward to the Unleashed story video for one reason. Chip's Japanese voice. I've heard that voice in videos and, oh my gosh, it makes Tails' voice in Heroes sound bearable in comparison.

No rain could douse the flames that burn within me!"It would probably be better if you watch it yourself." is what you say if you feel that way. It's more natural and reads like a suggestion.
The other one is actually snippy in tone and more like a demand. That's the difference between the two. I'm sure you meant it more like the former and didn't mean to be snippy, it just came off more poorly than intended. Tone doesn't always translate well, but when it's clearly more of a demand to others, the tone didn't go as well as intended.
I hope that helps. :)
Shadow?Well, this is my perspective Rabbit.
Geek Critique is a reviewer who, due to his love for Sonic, offers a lot of insightful historical context to his Sonic reviews and how the community felt about it. Just now I'm realizing people were really positive with Secret Rigs back in the day. However, you can feel a bit of bias from his part for the Classic games, and some of his Sonic takes border on the melodramatic. He is a good reviewer.
Pariah is a more casual critic who vastly prefers the Classic games, but is willing to cut the crap and see the positives in the baddly received titles, since his perspective is that of a Sonic fan who got used to Sonic Team's inconsistencies. He has reviewed every story of the Sonic games but, unlike a lot of Sonictubers, he doesn't play with tinted glasses and just reviews them and say if they are bad or not - taking in consideration, of course, their Japanese origin. He is the only guy that will tell you Sonic and Knuckles stories in Adventure are bad, and is the only guy with the balls to call Silver a crappy character, as he doesn't care to please the fandom. He rarely will talk of English original Sonic unless is to point out osmosis traits (like Chili dogs) or bad translations.
Both are worth checking out.
To win, you need to adapt, and to adapt, you need to be able to laugh away all the restraints. Everything holding you back.Geek Critique feels like the best possible ambassador for the Classic fandom in my estimation. While he has a clear love of that era, he has a willingness to understand the nuances of the post Genesis games and does seek to explain the why of various franchise decisions while acknowledging his own biases in the process. While part of my enjoyment of his work is somewhat rooted in him being an older fan like myself that really gets the context of both 90s Sonic and the practical importance of the franchise's general image in gaming, I can genuinely say he's worth watching no matter what kind of fan you are.
Pariah is a little trickier for me to look at because he goes so deep into the Japanese versions of the plots that (as someone fairly indifferent to the Eastern lore) it makes it harder for me to stay as interested in his explorations of the particular narratives. While I wouldn't say I have a strong investment in any of the game's stories, the non-Western depiction in particular just never really grabbed me like it did others. His gameplay examinations are fairly solid though.

That Geek Critique video was my first exposure to the Japanese Sonic voices and...
Eaugh. That just felt like I was committing forbidden taboo.
Not going to try and judge too harshly cause what do I know, but they just felt...unfitting really.
Sahara's especially is too cutesy, and Sonic's doesn't get across the raw primal fury of Darkspine at all, instead going for righteous heroism.

I never seen any of Pariah's videos. Are they any good?
I love animation, TV, movies, YOU NAME IT!
