A DeepL translation of the article with a bit of clean up.
According to the announcement by the Special Investigation Department, the suspect, who was (then) an employee of the game company Square Enix, learned important information about "Dragon Quest Tact", which was being jointly developed by Square Enix and the online game production company Aiming, around late January 2020.
Before the game was announced, Naka allegedly purchased approximately 10,000 shares of Aiming stock for approximately 2.8 million yen. He was arrested for insider trading under the Financial Instruments and Exchange Law.
Two other suspects, Taisuke Sasaki, 38, a former employee of Square Enix, and his acquaintance Fumiaki Suzuki, 40, were also arrested yesterday on suspicion of insider trading.
All three are believed to have purchased the shares in the belief that the announcement of information regarding "Dragon Quest Tact" would boost the price of Aiming's stock.
I'd say it wouldn't affect Sonic since people should be aware he was no longer involved at the development. Though given Balan, if he ''did stick with ST past 06, his continued involvement would've just made him a lightning rod for all the fans complaints with Boom/Forces/Lost World and him being remove being seen as an improvement FBOW.

Ayo that's some funny shit, of course Yuji Naka of all people would get busted for insider trading. Dude loves his sports cars; it's easy to picture him still trying to maintain that fast life post-SEGA. According to his wiki as of April '22 he's still competing as a driver and placed 7th.
Certified, self-appointed Sonic VisionaryAlternatively, Youtube streaming, because Twitch has its own can of worms right now.
Watch SymphogearAnywho, finally got to beating the Pinball Machine.
Boss 3 done. Mechanics were kind of fiddly in the second stage of that one, but it went down fast enough.
Then the Towers, and...
I've been wondering for a while if Sonic should do more vertical focused levels. They're fairly rare in 3D, with most 3D games only doing those "run around the rising ring" levels Unleashed started (and there is one in the cyber space levels), so doing
I think there might be a reason 3D Sonic doesn't do it so much. Sonic's speed means that it works way better in an enclosed space (IE, in 2D) than an open space. The Towers that either partially or entirely functioned in the 2D plane tended to be way better than the first two ones that were entirely free motion, save for the later 3D one that was enemy based, and the last one - which also worked by sticking Sonic to a particular plane.
But it was an interesting experiment.
As for the plot... I've never been too fond of most Precursor stories, as in most cases I feel it tends to subtract from stories rather than add to them, but this one was okay. I like how even though the Chaos Emeralds were brought to Earth by the aliens, they make it clear the Master was already there. I do find myself hoping that exploring the Ancients' lore doesn't become - like - the font of the Sonic mythos going forward, though.
Well comics aside, there hasn't been much lore to be the font of Sonic anyway, you have the surface level stuff, then some details about the Chao, GUN and Sahdow, and then some game specific stuff that might not be relevant next game such as the Wisps' home world, the Gaias, Soleanna, The Phantom Ruby, etc. Hell The Ancients themselves might be put in that category.
This series does better when we just get to learn actual new stuff about the world, not really expanding on what came before.
The new stuff has to involve the Chaos Emeralds, but that's about it...
It's also fine when it ignores them.

Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice.Because of the way Sonic Frontiers story plays out, I've come to have the opinion that Sonic's world is similar to the Dragon Ball world...
Early Dragon Ball where the creativity and uniqueness of the setting pretty much came from that Earth and not...explaining why it exists.

Just saw this. Holy crap, what?!?
Was anyone even associating Yuji Naka with Dragon Quest before now?
