Wait. What? I thought Sega delayed it because the developers said they needed more time? Did they still force the group to rush? Have they STILL note learned anything about not rushing games?
One Strip! One Strip!I've been seeing a lot of tropes saying The End is immortal and could theoretically come back any time, but I'm unsure if that's canon or not—maybe The Ageless, but I dunno about Complete Immortality.

The Protomen enhanced my life.Well, the first half of those five years apparantly had to be thrown out and restarted from scratch.
My musician pagePlaying as other characters is unique to Advance 3...somehow.

Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice. The Advance and Rush trilogies are interesting to compare. The former has the more interesting experimentation while the latter is generally more consistent with its quality, and even seemed to get better with the level design towards the end. There's a fascinating alternate universe where both kept going on as series and you had Advance continue the character team up element while the latter eventually incorporates Shadow and maybe even Metal Sonic as part of its gameplay.

Do you mean after Colors DS? Which was during a time period where everything was just Sonic?
I'd figure Advance 3 would be praised for the things unique to it, ya know...ya know.
Advance 3 being the best of the trilogy kind of deserves all of the like-likes it can get.

Essentially yeah, after Colors DS, you have a Rush go on as a series focused around the speedy characters while Advance returns to give more of the other members of the cast the spotlight. You still have Sonic but you maybe gradually include the likes of Silver or the Chaotix as possible future inclusions with that sub-franchise staying closer to a typical platformer.
Given the output of Sonic handheld titles circa 2011-2017, I don't think it would have that much worse than what we ended up with.
I honestly do miss the days where we had Sonic handheld games. Even though I was frustrated with Sonic Advance 2 and 3 at times because of the difficult gameplay, I still loved the fact that it made the smooth transition for 2D gameplay and did it in such a creative way.
I love animation, TV, movies, YOU NAME IT!So, I am listening to “Undefeatable”, and the song is giving me MAJOR RWBY vibes.
It sounds like a lost RWBY song that wound up in Sonic.
This is a good thing as i said months ago, RWBY and Sonic both are cases where even if the end product is underwhelming, the music slaps hard.
AAAAUUUUGGGHHHH!!!!

Speaking of Cyberspace themes what was up with the first state and that "you are not in control?"
The verticality of the world's works well, as you can travel mostly mindlessly at ground level when you need to, but can really optimise your speed by traveling at height when navigating challenges or faster routes. It's quite rewarding.
The combat and movement works well for the overworld (if the enemies and terrain are designed around it) but struggles in cyberspace sue to how slow and clunky it feels in 2D.
Though I love that cyberspace are short levels that you are really given a reason to optermise. That's required me to think way more critically about Sonic's movement and route than I ever have before
I agree with this. Pretty much my experience. First Sonic game I felt compelled to "git gud" and do the missions, find faster routes, etc
