That person was literally just talking about the music...
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice. There's justification to still dislike it beyond the game itself, but no one was really complaining about ''the game"'.
I'm also not really sure why the dislike not being "funny" means it can't be talked about ever, not every person dislikes a thing because it's funny. Sometimes they just don't know how to stop complaining.
In any case, there was no reason to bring that up.
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice.Well, let's see; "blacklisting" is not funny at all. It's just ridiculous at this point.
And no, there's a difference between expressing your dislike constructively and outright complaining. Unfortunately, rarely is the former ever done with the game. :/
Anyway, I'll have to see if I can use my online Gamestop coupons to get Frontiers for cheap. Not sure if there's any core differences among the Xbox One and Switch version, though? Beyond at most some frame rates/power at best? Anybody know of the differences?
Shadow?I wasn't complaining about it when I said that.
Just referring to how SEGA would've treated the game.
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice.Sonic Chronicles had everything going against it. New development arm of a studio working on new hardware, EA merger partway through, seemingly losing all the music files and stealing a bunch from the internet, Ken Penders being an absolute psychopath about any similarities to his mediocre work for Archie...
Oissu!Isn’t Penders the reason the Sega Mandates exist….along with all the Colors era Character Derailment that ensued? “Sonic help me!!!” I’m looking at you.
Funny Amy mentions Love that transends time.
Makes me think her perfect Arch-Nemesis should be a being who believes in Hate that transends time. Cue “Fugue for the Lord of Dark”.
Some of you know who I’m talking about (feel free to join in).
The rest of you, go play Live A Live right now. That plot twist in chapter 8 was the “Magical Girls Become Witches” of its time.
Can I just say that some of the names for the villains in Sonic are so Obviously Evil it's absurd. We have Black Doom, Mephiles the Dark and now The End. What's next, a Sonic villain named Death?

As I understand it, Sage is quite a different character in JP. Like she's more overtly murderous towards Sonic.
Which makes sense actually. She is an Eggman creation. I guess Ian Flynn softened her up to make the sympathetic moment actually work.
"The Black Rage makes us strong, because we must resist its temptations every day of our lives or be forever damned!"I do think it's cute that Eggman treats Sage like an actual daughter instead of being abusive, but I guess that's because she's neither an idiot nor a traitor; In the comics he seems to treat Metal Sonic as a son and prize creation, so clearly he can stomach a bit of betrayal in the name of doing what he wants to do but better, so the way he brings her back in the golden ending means he has no hard feelings about her working with Sonic to save him.

It did; the script was translated from English to Japanese this time when its usually the opposite.
And yea, the JP translation sounds really awkward. Like Amy knowing about the concept of Cyberspace...but not Sonic.

It does help that according to the Eggman logs, Eggman actually took a while to fully warm up to Sage and treat her like a daughter. He had to be won over by her competence and loyalty for sure though. Funnily enough, this is actually consistent with his portrayal in the comics when contrasted with how Wily prefers to give his robot masters far more personality when discussing robots with Eggman, who counters that it's preferable to have less personality so the robots do what they are told and there's less disloyalty.
All this stuff with Sage is just screaming spinoff sitcom.
Wholesome father daughter misadventures, keeping Sage safe from internet trolls, the unpleasant parts of the Sonic fandom, or worst of all, PINGAS memes.
Speaking of, there’s one surefire way to troll Eggman now….show him Clannad’s (anime) ending. Phufufu.
Sage, and her dynamic with Eggman, would make for good Twitter Takeover material. It's too bad there wasn't one for this game, even if I can understand why, with the more serious tone it was going for.
My musician pageBah.
We all know the real way to troll Eggman is to show him a picture of Sonic.
There'd be so many hate that Hedgehog rants.
One Strip! One Strip!

The hate stopped being funny ages ago.
And I don't like the game either, but this is just silly now.
But yeah, I liked some of the concepts, as it was the most hilarious version of Big the Cat yet. Eggman was done very well, we got to see Rouge being more separated as a character again(last time was Battle, and kind of in Shadow, but nearly everyone was a potential temporary partner to Shadow himself, sooooo), Cheese was awesome(and she already was amazing in Sonic Battle), and it did have some cool designs/ideas otherwise.
Music didn't do it for me, but if it could have some polish and... I dunno, maybe enemies either drop items that can be sold for a little more money on average or at least drop a little bit of money, we'd be good on that front. It's not a bad thing that you can't easily grind for oodles of cash, but it's kind of too hard to even get some decent items at a reasonable rate. When Dragon Quest 1, even at the start of the game, is easier to grind in, something's up. And I'm referring to the NES version where things drop the least amount of cash, yup.
Shadow?
