I do recall hearing that the comics were being sold in Japan.
Not sure what people there think of them though.
One Strip! One Strip! So, the previews for Issue #53 of the IDW comics have come out. Interestingly enough the Dynamo cage causes Surge to hallucinate Dr Starline so in a way the wannabe doctor is back, but the real deal is still dead.
"Punishment is not the answer. Punishment is easy. It's lazy. Redemption is hard. Redemption makes you work."-Skulduggery PleasantOk, so I found the source I was thinking of when I made my post earlier. Wise Publishing said that they reprinted the first volume due to the surprisingly high sales.

Speaking of comics
I wonder how Tangle would play on a proper console game. Frontiers' combat engine seems like a good base if SEGA/Sonic Team ever considers a DLC route with expanding a playable roster. Whisper was inspired from Forces, it would make too much sense if Tangle came after Frontiers' gameplay since she utilizes Beware My Stinger Tail. Was it confirmed whether Sonic was the only playable character again or not?
Honestly, I'd kill for another Heroes installment. The Speed-Flight-Power dynamic was pretty neat at the time and solves the issue retaining Sonic having too many friends.

Certified, self-appointed Sonic VisionaryYeah, but only in Super Mode.
It's Shadow who makes that shit a regular part of his arsenal, though I think that's mostly since his own self titled game.
One Strip! One Strip!Shadow could use Chaos Spear since Sonic Adventure 2, though he only used it during the final boss fight against him in Hero story or in multiplayer. In his own game he only used it while in Super form. Somewhat ironic, but probably because if he could use it all the time it would invalidate guns.
Sonic technically had his own equivalent attack in SA2, with Sonic Wind. Though that never showed up against, I don't think.
We got something of a similar idea in Sonic Battle with his Sonic Wave and Sonic Storm, but he generally doesn't use projectiles or wind attacks very often anyway. Boost could kind of count, depending on how you view it working. It seems like an impact thing, less so with the wind being generated? It still fits the wind concept, but a different use of it, arguably.
Shadow? When they showed that energy attack before it was Sonic kicking out the beams, now he's literally just doing lazy man's anime filler version.
He's just holding his hands out motionless while energy blasts just shoot from them.
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice.Well, it could be inferred that the kicking version...is for multiple enemies since it aimed consecutively.
However that can't be confirmed until someone else does both against a mob.

I just want to point out that the idw comics have apparently been doing surprisingly well in japan, tho i dont have a source onhand atm.
