I've been so elated guys. We can finally make mid 2000's AM Vs again. Nature is healing.

It's kinda weird for me that I'm already familiar with a band doing a song for the series, even if only in passing.
It's also weird to me that the song exists outside the context of the game.
My musician pageI Ts not the first time Sega has licensed a song guys, they did with Shadow and 06.

Licensed or commissioned? I'm fairly sure all the songs from 06 are basically tailor made for the game.
Well, not counting All Hail Shadow, for obvious reasons, but that was still written for the series and can't really be separated from it anyway.

Funny you should mention that. I found three different versions of that song. The version Targetmaster Joe posted is the only one that is in Japanase, hence the title saying Japanese Version in the video's title. The version I posted here and the version I found later are completely in English with the same title. The only difference between the two is the one I posted here is censored. I checked out both the English and Japanse versions of teaser trailer for Frontier's ending song, and both versions use the censored version.

I'm reminded of how kid show KaBlam!'s theme song was a licensed cover of a ska song by a group called The Toasters, which originally had an F bomb in it.
On a related note, I would dig more ska and reggae inspired stage themes in Sonic. I mean, across the franchise we've had samba, salsa, bluegrass, blues, you name it. But I think there's only one reggae inspired theme at all, in Rush.
(entirely unrelated, but it just hit me that there's a stage in one of the Adventure games that shares a sample with one of my favorite dancehall tracks).

Shout out to a music track from Jet Set Radio Future having a detailed description of fellatio in the uncut version!
...Ahem, anyway...
I was just watching the overview of Frontiers on the Sonic youtube channel. Is this the first time a Sonic game has had such a thing? But I'm glad they did, because I was really unsure what the gameplay loop for Frontiers even was.
(2) Pfft according to Youtube
yeah, it is the first time Sonic's had a gameplay overview.
Wow.

Whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa, what?! One of my favourite bands ever, who I even got to see live a couple years back before things went to hell in a handbasket, is doing a Sonic song?! I never would have imagined this. This is wild.
