True enough. But also, Sonic and the Fallen Star, which is also pretty solid. Does that have a page yet BTW?
EDIT: sadly nope

Are explosions science? Its a fangame by Just Star Drop that released not long before TT 16-bit and its pretty great. Sonic fangames have shot up inquality since new engines came out. Wonder if someone'll fully remake the Before/After the Sequel games and Chrono Adventure to play nicer with modern systems? I can't play teh first two because their cutscenes are done in Flash.
Are explosions science?@erazor0707 To be fair this is the franchise that has people constantly accusing Sonic of ripping of Dragon Ball, Mario, Mario Galaxy, gritty 2000s games, God of War, and now Breath of Wild.

I completely forgot about that game. Can Sonic games please stop making the special stages so freaking hard, it worked for Generations 3Ds because it wasn't freaking impossible!
Red Hunter 543: I think for you're supposed to use Chaos Control to stop the spike and then homing attack the drones.
Speaking of boss battles, there's legitimately no Sonic game where any game goes "almost all these boss slap." Like going game by game, the only one I hear people like are:
- Forces: Infinite #1
- Mania: Metal Sonic
- Lost World:....I have no idea
- Generations: Silver, 3DS Time Eater, Chaos?, Egg Dragon
- Colors: Nega Wisp
- Unleashed: Dark Gaia Wii, Egg Dragoon 360,
- Zero Gravity: Master Core ABIS
- 06: Solaris
- Shadow: Black Doom
- Heroes: Metal Madness and Egg Albatross
- Adventure 2: Egg Golem, and the Biolizard
- Adventure: Chaos, E-102
Something that's not helping Omens is that the worst thing to happen with most Sonic fan projects is that they go unfinished. Omens by contrast has a whole list of controversies attached to it on top of coming out after two fairly well regarded fan games in Fallen Star and 16 Bit Triple Trouble. As a result even those what might be interested in Sonic fan titles (whether players or content creators) have far less problematic choices to go with, and that's not even counting what's going to be showcased as SAGE 2022 next month.
On the other side of fangames, I recently discovered Sonic Momentum
which appears to be the Sonic Mania to the Modern Sonic games seen in Nintendo handhelds, namely the Advance trilogy, Battle, Rush, the DS version of Colors, and even Chronicles, if you can believe it and sort of merges the elements of those games.
And it looks rad AF!

So. Y'know the folks behind the Sonic 1/2 mobile decompilations?
Um, yeah, they just released a decompilation of Sonic Mania
.
Expect this to be their last project, though— at least, for now. That means no decompiled Origins version of Sonic 3 & Knuckles, unfortunately.

Someone oughta call a plumber, because we got potential leaks related to Sonic Frontiers merchandise
incoming!
Deets:
- The leaks say something about the game releasing November 15, 2022.
- There's also something about 2 pieces of DLC.
- One that'll get the speculation train a-rolling: a poster of Sonic, Tails, Amy, and Knuckles! (Slightly better look!
)
What will be the controversy with him now be?
First it was him being cocky, then an alternate counterpart of his hating friendship, then him killing some mooks, and then the Metal Virus nonsense.
What will it be next, him doing some bad joke the fandom will exagerate for years to come?
To win, you need to adapt, and to adapt, you need to be able to laugh away all the restraints. Everything holding you back.

Kind of hard to mess up a game that has a solid base line already.
