In better news:
Sega Hardlight recognizes that we dig robots, so after having a football-themed variant, Omega in his regular deco will finally be unlocked via tokens in Sonic Dash effective tomorrow!
And his older brother, E-102 Gamma, has an event in Sonic Forces Mobile starting today!
As for non-video game media, there was Archie's Sonic Universe issue #3
published in 2009, and it's about Shadow searching Gamma to recruit him to G.U.N.
And of course Sonic X.
And, let's be honest, Omega, even if a throughly different character, was inspired by his older brother both in and out of universe.
Eggman seems to be fond of the guy; as far as he knows, he gave results before Sonic handled him; Gamma going rogue is something that likely went over his head; the E-1000 mass produced series is also a thing after all.

The E-1000 series is just a bunch of Egg Pawns...
They only ride hover boards.

Whereupon Gamma's robotic remains probably got flung off the Egg Carrier while it was crash-landing into the ocean, as far as Eggman knows.
If the Archie comic’s didn’t have them meet, I would wonder how Gamma would interact with Omega.
Though if Eggman did ever find out about Gamma’s defection, how would he react?

The problem is that even when I try to time my jumps properly, when playing as Mighty I keep accidentally bouncing off the spiked arm in such a way that I get sent to the left. Once I'm there, I simply can't jump over the glass dome and I inevitably fall down the hole.
Sometimes I accidentally double-tap jump and do the ground pound, which causes me to die faster.
