People say this is a new low for Sonic but honestly I don't think it would cause that much more damage to the brand than what's been done already. After all, Video Game Movies Suck.
I am playing Sonic Rush right now and I have to say this: The boss at F-Zone has to be one of the worst Sonic boss fights. My god is it relentless. I mean the some of the other bosses were pushers but this one takes the entire bakery.
EDIT: So I was finally able to beat him. How did I get an A I have no idea.

I'm honestly kinda confused by this, like are they trying to make it terrible on purpose? ._. Because seriously whats with the legs
Having S-Ranked everything in Sonic Rush, I fully agree with you. That boss took me so many attempts to S-Rank. Other than that, I enjoy the boss since the concept is pretty cool and Bomber Barbara is such a kickass song.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book! That supposed internal poster looks... alright really. The initial poster was terrible, but this falls in line with what I expected a 'realistic' Sonic to look like.
Shoulda just gone with this.
Visit my Tumblr! I may say things. The Bureau ProjectLike I said, it's Sonic. People will make a much bigger deal out of it than necessary strictly because of that.
To pity someone is to tell them "I feel bad about being better than you."Not much that can be done really.
And in this case, the damage is somewhat self-inflicted. If the final design is actually OK (as some early impressions from Brazil have said), then the people in charge really should have waited until they had enough to show. Really don't see the purpose to putting THAT poster out so early when a trailer with a clear view of the design may actually have helped mitigate fears. It's 11 months away! What's the rush (lol speed joke) exactly?
Basically, being so secretive about something people already have reservations about is a pretty good way to make people fill in the blanks with their worst fears.

Visit my Tumblr! I may say things. The Bureau ProjectEverything about Sonic is the worst thing until the inevitable next "worst thing"
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.Unless it's Teen Titans Go, the Powerpuff Girls reboot, and that string of Sony movies. Those are worse.
Just sayin'.

A cruel, sick joke is still a joke, and sometimes all you can do is laugh. One of those things doesn't belong there.
YO. Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. They may be taking the stance that any sort of publicity, negative or otherwise, could help the movie put asses in seats, or at least keep people talking about it.
And if it turns out to be at least passable, it could make the film seem better than it actually is by virtue of everyone being relieved that the design isn't terrible.
Is Cosmo's death still a must-watch without spoilers thing? Or is it about as common knowledge as Aerith's death?
Sonic X ended 13 years ago and not a lot of people care about it, so I feel you don't need to put an spoiler tag anymore, you can do it if you want, but I don't think it's necessary anymore
¡PONLE QUE DIGA!:"¡HUMONGOSAURIO HASTA LA MUERTE!"Her death is pretty well known I think.

Sonic X is basically the Sonamy show for me.
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.I honestly don't care for that pairing nor the moments, I just enjoy Sonic X for other stuff
The show in general is kind of a guilty pleasure for me

¡PONLE QUE DIGA!:"¡HUMONGOSAURIO HASTA LA MUERTE!"That's all the show was though...
YO. Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie.I thought it was "The Chris Thorndyke Show feat. Sonic" from the way people talked about it?
To pity someone is to tell them "I feel bad about being better than you."Reposting from the Sonic movie thread:
Ian Flynn (as in the guy who's beeen writing Sonic comics since 2006) wrote an article on the whole "Not My Sonic" debacle the movie's teaser posters have started, arguing there IS no real Sonic and almost every appearance of Sonic in animated media has always gotten SOMETHING wrong about him.
(Keep in mind, he agrees the reveal and commentary from those involved with the movie sounds tone-deaf.)
On one hand, I still hate this live-action Sanic we've be "teased" with (though the Sonic in that leaked poster looks much more manageable). On the other hand, it's got me thinking "maybe we ARE over-reacting?"
I mean, even disregarding that, the movie probably won't be important in the grand scheme of things, there's already other Sonic material to enjoy (STR and IDW, plus other stuff coming soon)
Plus, it's not gonna kill the franchise like so many people say it will, it survived worse so I don't see why this should be any different
¡PONLE QUE DIGA!:"¡HUMONGOSAURIO HASTA LA MUERTE!"Truthfully the franchise has sold out in every other way, while it doesn't look appealing, I'm kinda desensitised to it. It was going to happen eventually.
It's bizarre how tone-deaf all of this. The iconic settings, memorable plots, lovable characters, and striking visuals are built-in and yet so few of these make it past the cutting room floor.
I sincerely hope we get a trailer that knocks everyone's socks off.

I'M MR. MEESEEKS, LOOK AT ME!I never thought the bomber bombara boss was that bad except for the instant kill move. That's BS.
Sonic X is pretty popular and, so, everyone and their grandma knows how the final season is. I remember there was a time when I rabidly wished Sega would make Cosmo into a Canon Foreigner... That wouldn't actually work well, though. Tails in the games has too subpar a character right now, plus he doesn't feel like the type of kid who would have a crush yet.
If Sega decides to go anywhere with the Classic and Modern split, I'd like to see some worldbuilding for the Classic-verse besides random islands. I've always loved the Sonic the Screensaver art and its character.
The entire thing is terrible, from top to bottom. it looks like a bootleg plushie.
