Where? It's not on this one, you were there when it didn't get put onto Mask of Power, and I can't think of any other relevant tropes for it.
I have a message from another time...-rereads the trope-
Apparently.
...so why the hell is it called Cool Mask if it isn't about masks that are cool?!
Infinite Tree: an experimental storyIdunno. It was called Mask Power, but that's been relegated to a redirect.
I have a message from another time...I think perhaps Masked Power would be best, to distinguish it from Mask of Power.
Should we take this over to the TRS?
Infinite Tree: an experimental storyI'm not a fan of the Zelda one because it just looks like part of a costume. It would be similar to saying batmans mask is a cool one.
Fight smart, not fair.Isn't that what Meta Knight is? At any rate, I fail to see a good reason why the current image "doesn't quite fit" the trope based on the objections made at it, or lack thereof.

You are displaying abnormally high compulsions to over-analyze works of fiction and media. Diagnosis: TV Tropes Addiction.
True.
Other Masks I can think of that are iconic like The Phantom of the Opera or The Man in the Iron Mask aren't really Cool Masks as described in the trope. Doctor Doom (like in this image
◊) might work as an alternative - but I still prefer Meta Knight.

The not human thing is a big strike on Meta Knight how do we know it not just part of his face? (From the picture)
The Zechs one its very clear that its a mask, the Victorian style officers uniform is very clear that he holds power, + the sword and then there is the Mech with the big ass Dobergun (seriously that's the guns name)
Sparkling and glittering! Jan-Ken-Pon!That doesn't put much emphasis on the mask, the way I see it.
The words above are to be read as if they are narrated by Morgan Freeman. Now that you mention it...
But the rest of the setup is perfect. He does look like he's boss.
Might as well end up in a crowner. What about V?

I'm pretty sure it's on at least one other trope page already.
