Well... there isn't a cure if it's been done intravenously.
I'll be blunt. This could go one of three ways.
One, the small amount you received will stabilise with the help of the mako. You'll never be quite normal again, and you'll probably always have this odd feeling in the back of your head that you're not quite alone, but you'll be mostly human, and able to live a mostly normal life.
Two, the mako won't be enough, and you'll gradually end up a bit like me — a Fragment of a greater whole. You'll get used to it in time, and the extra minds will gradually become part of yours until you're comfortable with it, but you won't be as easily classifiable as human anymore. Over time, you'll physically change more and more, and you'll have a greater understanding of your abilities and purpose and one of the Many, as well.
...Three. The virus ravages your system, corrupting your DNA and failing to integrate with it. Symptoms can vary wildly, depending on what gets infected first, and how, but you could be dead in a week. And if by some miracle you survive, you'll probably go mad, fall into a permanent coma, or be reduced to a vegetative state.

-Shakes his head- If it had worked, we'd know immediately...
-Grabs her arms and begins examining them as well as her armpits and upper back, then checks her head and the back of her neck-

(Daaaamn, you're sheltered....)
It gets worse. You sort of kissed me, and, well... Tifa and I usually take a lot of precautions, but I guess I just got used to her taking care of it on her own, and, er — well, you, er... you may have ingested trace amounts of mako and alien virus. Or maybe it got in through a cut. You'd better hope it's the former, though...
