MY SOUL IS DARK BUT MY HAIR IS COLORFUL — Brahian Pokémon Alchemist-Avax turns to Myszkowski-
I see... again, 'man'? I do not understand... -xe strokes xyr chin, before xyr's antennas go rigid and xyr eyes go wide-
Ah, of course. Cloud explained it to me.
The humans have two forms, two castes: the male and the female, who are both needed for reproduction. My people, the ahmun, do not have these castes. We are ahmun: there is no distinction of form, aside from that of an individual.
-xe shaked xyr head-
Yes, I, heh... human culture is most odd to me.
(going to hot springs, yay!)
Hm. Interesting. When I was mentioning "man", I meant beings of male gender. As for human culture, as we can see, there are different humans in different worlds, each of them assuming different culture. It is hard to comprehend even for other humans.(raises an eyebrow at Filbert)

(blinks) Isn't that Tomo and Lilith?
A wise man said once that humans are creatures of chance. They are opportunists who are able to exploit everything to their advantage. That being said, humans tend to fight between each other for many petty things, including wealth, power, women or beliefs. Despite having so much years of experience, it still makes me cringe.

I see... my people never had that difficulty. We know that true unity only comes from submission, caution, and tolerance of the status quo. -xe shakes xyr head-
The thought of rebellion, disregarding duty... is suicide. Too many dangers. Too many unknowns. Only tradition and obedience will sustain our people through the tyranny of the sun and the creatures that lurk.
-Avax turns to look at the injury-
That... a missing arm is not healthy.

Essentially, it's hardwired into the brains of the ahmun that the majority are superior because there's more of them: it's basically the result of requiring a close family/clan system because otherwise YOU WILL BE EATEN. Probably by something big and scary with More Teeth than the Osmond Family. Rebellion is thus tantamount to both suicide and murder, same thing for laziness. So all of their wars were averted by the smaller group 'doing their duty' and surrendering without a fight to whomever has more people. Though of course, not all of them agree, and some take the 'serve the majority' on a basis of personal merit or of some 'grander purpose' etc. There is some variety.
I see... it is the same on my own world. I wonder, what is a 'crest'? You said you were of the 'Pilawa' crest? Is that like a clan?

Oh, it's been ages since I was in one! Sure!(smiles)
Back in Commonwealth, "Mister" or "Mr." for short is used to politely adress another man of your status. I'm Mr. Myszkowski of Pilawa crest. I'm going to assume you're rather unfamiliar with human culture, correct?
(discussing between each other)
