Heat got overrun by those sudden questions. She always has made those jumps kinda just out of her guts out and those precice questions just are slight too much for her.
"Uh.... Em.... Yeah.....", she stutters.

Currently too lazy to switch pics... Although, it's cute, shut upSam took another sip of coffee, cocking an eyebrow at Cats' claim, "Oh yeah? Try me."
Crossover Fan: Heyo! Nice to see you interested in jumping back into the scene! Unfortunately, the scene has moved on past the point where those questions were asked by quite a bit, due to you leaving and seemingly not returning, so things are a bit different in the kitchen at the moment. As a general rule if someone leaves for a while in a scene and we don't know why, we'll move past as if their character left the scene to keep things rolling and not have a scene stuck on possibly permanent hiatus. Up to you how you want to handle exactly what happened (whether Heat had to leave suddenly, or the questions didn't happen and Heat faded into the background, or whatever) and if you want to rejoin the scene here you absolutely can, although word of warning on that: I'm heading off to sleep soon and Faust is likely to follow within a couple hours.
"Friend of mine has a situation, she's living a humble life, and she's got a good landlord. But, she's kind of a smoker, and said landlord is so millitant against tobacco that she will hiss and biiiiiiiemoan even the faintest hint of the stuff. So... D'you know how said friend could convince her to get her head out of her arse?"
Cats immediately launched into a spiel peppered with both Latin and French derivatives without explaining it further than the definition or pausing to elaborate, and punctuated the ramblings with gestures that ultimately added nothing of help, but made her entire speech far more entertaining to watch.
