Roof (108)
-Aichi seems to notice the presence behind him, and turns to look at Lina.-
"Hello."
-...Lina, right off the bat this small kid seems a bit... off.-
-His expression is completely blank, void of emotion... and that eye patch hides one of his strangely empty eyes.-
-His voice is almost equally as void of emotion, although there's a bit more there than in his facial expression.-
-A peculiar child...-
-It seems like he's holding a deck of trading cards, Lina. The one that is visible from your angle is A warrior with white armor that is wielding a large and matching sword.
-
-The name 'Blaster Blade' should be visible.-

Roof (108)
-What's he doing up here? Well...-
"I am looking at my deck."
-A small hint of fondness can be heard in his voice while he refers to the deck. It seems like it means a lot to him, for it to break through that emotionless demeanor...-
"I am also thinking about things I have learned here."
-...'Things he has learned here'?-
Roof (108)
-He doesn't nod or anything. No body language of any kind other than eye contact.-
"Yes. I have learned many things here. Things I would have never learned back in the facility."
-'Facility'?-
"I was thinking about how people talk differently than I do. Their voices change."
-It still seems he's a little perplexed about this. To anyone else it's perfectly natural that someone's tone and pitch change depending on what they're saying, what they're feeling, what the context is, etc.-
-Aichi is not anyone else.-
"People also wear different clothing. I have not seen someone in a suit like mine."
-He doesn't understand why people would wear lighter colored clothes. After all, he was basically raised with the idea of staying hidden, quiet, gather data and information, and fleeing.-
-Darker colored clothes would help him blend into the darkness.-
-Brighter clothes would make him stand out, and he doesn't understand why someone would want that.-
-Not to mention the impracticality of some forms of clothing... Why would you want something that hinders your movement? Aichi can't understand it.-
-A simple black bodysuit straight out of a spy movie is all he wears (along with the belt that has all of his gadgets on it and the little wrist communicator computer thing). It's made in such a way that it is perfect for his "job".-
The Deck
Lina turned and looked out over the horizon, sighing.
The world is this crazy place... there's always so much going on that you can't really keep up.
But the world finds a way. It's hectic, yeah, but it moves on. The world is such an expressive place... everyone is so different, and yet so similar. All the good things the world has to offer outweigh all the bad things.
... at least, those are my two cents about it.

Yo, you doin' alright?

-Aichi listens to what Lina says, expression unchanging. It's uncertain how much of that went right over his head, but one thing stood out in particular to him:-
"...We are all similar?"
-He actually seems a little confused about this.-
-Everyone seems so different...-
"Everyone I have met seem so different from one another."
-...And of course, there's himself...-
-He's too different. He can see some similarities between people, but the differences stand out way more.-
-He, on the other hand, is... well, how he is. Completely unfamiliar with what it means to be human, unfamiliar with the world itself, and all around lost.-
-Everyone else seems to understand everything, and he finds himself...-
-...Nervous...? Worried...? Sad...? He's not sure...-
"...I am different."
-...Lina, he actually seems a little bothered by that. Perhaps... sad?-

Roof (108)
-It's good to be different?-
-...-
-He... might understand. For so long he was led by mostly faceless beings behind a screen... However, thinking back... His handler was different from the other employees.-
-The people at the restaurant that his handler took him to was different from them.-
-Kai was different from them.-
-And the people here... They're different too.-
-The more he thinks about it, the more he realizes that everyone he has met really are different from one another.-
-There is not another Leos. There is not another Sthesia. There is not another Lune.-
-...Although apparently there are more Aichis...-
-Still, all of the people he has met are all different from one another in good ways.-
-He understands now.-
-Although...-
"...I want to learn more so I can become more human. I do not want to remain as I am now."
-Aichi wants to feel things like everyone else. To understand all of these things that seem like common knowledge.-
-He wants...-
"...I want to change. I do not want to continue being a tool."
-He sounds serious and resolved saying this, even through his near emotionless tone.-
-...This kid's calling himself a tool?-

The Deck
Lina's face seemed to light up just a little bit.
I suppose that's a good goal to have for yourself! Follow your aspirations, bud! Don't let the world tell you what you can and can't do!
She's trying to be encouraging... see if that goes well.
Main Room
D'you remember when you were trying to saw the coffin open? You passed out from exhaustion. I passed out next to you because seeing you sleep made me tired.
It's... honestly confusing why I function like I do sometimes.

-He smiles a little. It's small, but it's clear that he's happy now, even if his expression isn't much.-
"Peter said something similar."
-That his choices are his own and to stick by them.-
-And now he knows not to let the world tell him what he can and can't do...-
-He'll stand by his choices and continue pursuing his goal of becoming more human!-
-...Although...-
"...How would the world tell me what I can and cannot do? It does not have the ability to speak."
-...He took that literally, Lina.-

The Deck
Lina slips and her expression reads "oh, god damn it."
It was... kind of an expression. Think of it like if you had parents trying to get you to go into some specific profession and you say, "no, I want to do this instead," and you do that because it's what you wanted to do. That make sense, or should I go slower?
Main Room
No, it's fine. I don't have narcolepsy or anything; I just fall asleep really easily and I sleep really heavily.
She shrugged, a default motion for her.
anger mode: ONRoof (108)
-Oh... Another expression.-
-He always misses those...-
"Understood. You are saying that I should do what I want to do instead of listening to others."
-...'Parents'... Leos, Sthesia, and Peter talked about them.-
-He doesn't have parents.-
-...But he does have Leos and Sthesia.-
-...He's not certain of if he would want to go against what they say. He doesn't want to make them upset.-
"I will consider this."
The Deck
Now hold on, there. I'm definitely not saying "don't listen to anyone, ever." What I'm meaning is "listen to what people have to say first, then make your decision." You might be surprised how well that goes.
Main Room
Yeah... quite a bit, actually. I've sorta just accepted it as how my body functions. Nothin' big.

-Oh, so he just needs to consider it.-
-...It's so weird actually doing something like that. He was always just given orders. He didn't have a will of his own for so long...-
"Understood."
-...-
"...It is strange. I am not used to having the freedom to decide whether I want to do something or not."
-...Can he really go against orders like that...?-

Yeah, really kinda takes the wind out of glory, huh?
I had the same revelation from the other perspective: What's the point of fighting when nothing challenges me?
I'm the universe's cockroach. They could dip me into a sun, and I'd be okay.
