We Vastaya are products of magic, created long before humans walked the lands.
We control the magic that flows through our world, though humans think they can grab control of things they cannot possibly contain.
I can't lie about feeling disdain towards my world's humans, but I'll hold out hope for the humans from other, more innocent worlds.
DeerSome tend to capture Vastayan mana crystals in an attempt to use their power to catch magic themselves.
Some, lesser folk outright capture Vastaya and drain their essence.
It is why my people of the Sagi village are isolationist nomads.
I do not know much about Vastayan/Human relations outside of our island outside of what I can gleam from tomes in my spare time, though.
