Iwasawa's Room (Survivor Aichi)
-...?-
-He looks back to Iwasawa when he hears her begin playing...-
-...And then she sings.-
-He stays silent and simply listens.-
-...It's...-
-...rather nice, actually...-
-Part of him just wants to close his eyes and focus on the music, but he still doesn't feel comfortable doing that...-
-He hates having his eyes closed for too long... Once again, he's had to keep himself constantly alert for so long...-
-The idea of just closing his eyes and just tuning everything out feels like he's leaving himself open to attack.-
-It'd be nice if he could, but he just can't...-
-...But still, the song is very nice... and he almost feels a little better hearing it.-
Ghh— Gate of Babylon!
(a golden ripple opens up to the side of Alice, out of which shoots... stone tablets?)
(...oh. those are news tablets.)
Oh, that wasn't me that cut swallows. It was this one kid who wanted so bad to be my student, thinking I was a swordsman.
(sheaths the Monohoshizao, hanging it back up on the wall)
...Hmph.
(Caster waves his hand, causing all the tablets he shot out to vanish in gold particles)
(granted, he's still staring down Alice, though his combative expression has given way to a curious one)
...Mm, I guess it depends on your personal standards. But I don't like to call myself a swordsman - most I've ever done with them is test their sharpness.
Iwasawa's Room (Survivor Aichi)
"I know you could. You're extremely talented."
-Huh, he said that with surprisingly confidence.-
-...A confidence he hasn't had in a long while... Before the apocalypse started he was actually very healthily confident.-
-Very idealistic still, perhaps even naive, but he was still confident.-
-He was confident in his friends, the world... himself...-
-Perhaps this is a small piece of that part of him... A piece that remains somewhere deep down inside the now broken man.-
-He has a small, but once again weary, smile.-
-He's never going to be able to lose that weariness present in it, is he...?-
Iwasawa's Room (Survivor Aichi)
-He loses the smile upon seeing her get distant.-
"...?"
-He says nothing, instead waiting to see what she does and/or hear what she says.-
-He doesn't want to ask her. It's clear it made her become distant, but if she wants to say anything on her own she can.-
-He knows he wouldn't want someone to bother him about things like that either.-

If you can slash a bird out of the sky, I don't really think you're someone I'd like to get in a sword fight with. Not that I have any intentions of attacking you, of course.
