Homura: (stops and observes the correlation between the progress of the game in Aichi's head and what's happening in the Room World) Hmm...
(glances over at Annie, trying to discern if she was being sincere or sarcastic)
(As) ...curious reaction, I have to say.
(ZA, waits until Aichi is back to the sofa) <Oh...Aichi? What happened?>
The damned queen and the relentless knight.(Of course - he ought to know the rules. And his dream will run on them.) Until it makes a fatal error...
Homura: (ZA) <O-oh. Oh, right...OK, so...wait, I'm done, right? So, you have to...draw a card from your deck?> (clearly rising tone for the question to indicate "Kai's" confusion, both to try to draw out the rules from Aichi and to test how dedicated Dream Zombie Apocalypse Survivor Aichi is to this game over the apparent well-being of his opponent)
(As) <One moment.> (summons her Soul Gem in her hand and uses its magic-detection ability to try to confirm Ash's hypothesis)
(...which also answers Annie's question.) <I don't think you should be surprised if I said that I am not a normal human.>
The damned queen and the relentless knight.Main Room (Survivor Aichi)

<...Y-Yeah, you stand and draw...>
-He sounds very concerned...-
<...K-Kai, are you sure you feel all right...?>
-If Kai forgot what Aichi was supposed to do at the beginning of his turn then it's definitely serious... Kai would never forget anything about how to play Vanguard unless something was seriously wrong.-
<Are you lightheaded? Dizzy? Nauseous?>
-Seems like you might have triggered his far more observant and dire side (The side he apparently got from dealing with the zombie apocalypse... Which strangely seemed to be missing here). Seems like he's trying to see if there's anything wrong with 'Kai'.-
<Misaki, what do you think? He needs to see a doctor, right?>
-And it seems like he's trying to consult 'Misaki' now.-
