Homura: I see. (pause, eyes glance back at the notepad)

Sayaka: ...Well, I've learned my lesson long ago about not being stubborn when others want to help. If you really want to do it, take your time - I'm not in any real hurry. (finishes drying, goes to try to pull herself up into the deck chair)

Homura: (looks back at Andy) A collection of notes about those of us here. Written from Ms. Oriana's point of view.
Pool
Sayaka: Anyway...well, you're pretty close about the deals with other creatures thing. See, in our world there's things that cause despair in humans, makes them feel hopeless and suicidal and do things like jump off high buildings. And part of the deal was that in exchange for a wish, we have to fight them.

Homura: ...Do you know why she had a list like that?
Pool
Sayaka: Yeah, true. Not like normal humans have this kind of thing to worry about. (mulls for a moment) It feels weird. Like I know this isn't how I normally look and feel, but at the same time...it's like I've always had it, ya know?
The damned queen and the relentless knight.Oh, I know the feeling. Like, I lived my own life as a man named Muramasa. But when he died, the Throne couldn't preserve his complete soul, so it took a freshly deceased corpse from somewhere in space-time and gave it to me to possess. Homura's friend, who met her end by bleeding out.
(flexes that karakuri arm of hers, to indicate that Miyu's death was in no small part due to the loss of the original)
In a way, I'm both of 'em. I like to ID as Muramasa, and my body's memories are like watching a reel of film secondhand... but her soul's definitely influencing mine. Like I've always had a few of her idiosyncrasies. Y'know what I mean?

Homura: I see. I assume whatever she had to deal with has been taken care of?
Pool
Sayaka: (M) ...(sigh) Do you truly want to do it?
