Mob groggily hauls himself upright, the yearn for food greater than the yearn to sleep in. He looks somewhat lost at how Cliff was able to carry all that food without use of psychic powers, but he nonetheless takes a bowl, ignoring the drinks for now, and sets it on his lap.
"Thank you sir. I haven't seen you around here before."
Then again, all he'd really done after arriving was watch wrestling and meet a frog in the forest, so it wasn't as if he knew everyone in the realm.

bork-The cat sits down beside Mob as he eats-
-Thought Mob can't quite see what Cliff's mouth looks like under that scarf while he's doing so-
-Sir? He isn't quite used to being referred to like that-
Oh, it's no problem kid.
I'm more or less always around here though. Just hanging around in the shadows. Literally.

Mob's expression seemed to harden slightly as Cliff spoke, lifting up his spoon and pointing it to him. It promptly warped and twisted into a pretzel shape.
"You look like a cat and hide in shadows. Are you an evil spirit?" he asked in a suddenly quiet voice.

Mob turns to him with a slightly more relaxed expression, extending his hand for a handshake. "Kageyama Shigeo, but you can call me Mob. And it's nothing really, more annoying," he dismissed, regarding the modern art that was now set on the arm of the sofa. "My mom got so sick of it I have to pay out of my own allowance for every one I bend now," he added with a fond smile.
borkMob, eh?
Mmm, I had something like that too.
My parents paid a lot on sunscreen and umbrellas so I could go to school with kids my age. I'm kinda sensitive to the sun, y'know.
When I was real little, I used to leave my umbrella at school so I could have a new one with a cool new pattern. Until my parents scolded me.
-Mob can't see it, but Cliff offers him a kind smile-

Mob listened to Cliff's story with rapt attention, a nostalgic look growing in his own eyes as he absently fiddled with the spoon in his off hand.
Reminds me a little of Ritsu... I wonder how he's doing... I mean, Reigen-sensei seems to remember me being here, even if I don't... What if Ritsu does as well?

Breaking out of his thoughts, he turns back to Cliff. "So where do you come from? I know now you're not a spirit, or do you live here?"

"Oh, that sounds nice," Mob replied with a genuine look of intrigue. "Well, I'm from Spice City. I'm a middle schooler, but I also work at the Spirits and Such Consultation Office under Reigen-sensei."
He shrugged. "But selling comics sounds good as well. Did you have many problems with it?"
borkNah, I'm just happy to have a job in my hometown. Besides, a big nerd like me is a perfect fit for a comic store manager. Heck, I get to dress like a superhero everyday!
But man, only in middle school and you're already investigating spirits? That's pretty rad, Mob.

Mob nodded with interest. "So you become a spirit when you're older? You seem nice enough, so don't worry about us exorcising you when you are a spirit."
He looked down at mention of Reigen. "Reigen-sensei is certainly incredible. He taught me that my powers shouldn't be used against other people. It's like a knife; it can be a useful tool, but if you're careless it could cause harm."
borkW-well I don't want to become a spirit anytime soon...
-Cliff's fur stands on end-
That's why I got to keep healthy. Live a good long life!
-He says as he crunches an empty gallon bottle of cola with his hands-
Yeah, superpowers are dangerous if used incorrectly. We should only use them when they are the last resort to save someone or stop an evildoer.
