(The sword doesn't budge from its sheath.)
(When one hand wraps itself around the hilt, Blink melts away. When the other follows suit... the world melts away.)
(Melting. That's the best way to describe it. Hazy images, hellish images. Link cannot describe it as any other word than "calamity.")
(He's not even Rink anymore. What's the difference between Rink, Blink, and Plink? They're all the Hero. They're just Link.)
(And Link is staring down a nauseating sight, a burning, bloodied world. One that just hurts to look at - but one that tells Link "look away and you're a failure of a Hero.")
(A little bit of the sword leaves the sheath.)
(And the noise returns tenfold, shaving a little bit of Link himself away.)
(The images become clearer. A burning Hyrule, crawling with Guardians engraved with glowing red markings. Guardians, once the valiant protectors of Hyrule, now destroying any signs of life that they see. Helmed by four mighty Divine Beasts, championed by extensions of Ganon himself, razing entire cities with their command over nature.)
(At the center of this all is a swirling darkness. Relentless, merciless, formless save for the vague shape of a boar head.)
(Calamity Ganon.)
(The image of Ganon remains. But the rest of the world changes.)
(The Guardians pulse orange, firmly on the side of the light. The Divine Beasts loom above the army of Hyrule, not to destroy but to protect.)
(But the war is no less catastrophic. Spawning from the darkness known as Calamity Ganon are tens of thousands of monsters. Hinoxes, Moblins, Lynels - all of them glowing red from the essence of Malice itself, empowered by Ganon to fight. To destroy everything.)
(Ganon roars.)
(And a little bit more of Link is shaved away.)
Kitchen
C'mon, when has that happened? Besides, if that crap really does come our way, wouldn't they send Grand and Top Servants instead?
(A little bit more out of the sheath.)
(A lot more drained from Link.)
(Calamity Ganon fades away. But in his place are a myriad of figures.)
(A scheming nomad. A draconian mage. A tyrant from another world. A mask of evil desires.)
(Evil after evil after evil after evil. All of them wishing to take the world for themselves, and leaving nothing but a broken Hyrule in their wake. A flooded Hyrule. A twilit Hyrule. A decaying Hyrule. A Hyrule abandoned by its patron.)
(All the same. All different forms of the word "calamity.")
(They blur together, the sight taunting Link, as even more of him becomes shaved away—)
(Leos) Ehh... give or take. He's a lot more sophisticated than he looks, for better or worse.
(Hans) Man, I would say "Foreigner? Isn't that just a myth?" Buuuut... I'm pretty sure there's a version of me that could fit in that class.
He lets go.
Immediately he falls to his knees and hands — not his stomach, but it was barely over the roof. His entire being quaked, his head and hair coated with cold sweat. His less-than-half open eyes able only to look at the gravel on the roof. The breaths were slow, quiet, but they came.

-Jean looks at Hans.-
"...Hi."
-...Really there's a lot of talking going on and Jean's not exactly sure what to do or say.-
